April 26, 200719 yr Yeah things are easier to cut when you get higher level otherwise why level. Only thing i dislike is the dragon woodcutting hatch, can it really get logs faster ? Ive used it and also rune i dont really see much difference even after jagex said it can hit the trees faster.
April 26, 200719 yr I'm sure it drops slightly with axes as well as lvls. Main Goal; To have all skills 50+ My avatar is: The Shins- Oh Inverted World
April 26, 200719 yr Anyways...has anyone noticed that the forum clock here is wrong? I'm set on EST (GMT-5) and it says that its 8:30-ish right now...Really, it's 9:30. Lastly, for our friends in the US and Canada, please remember that beginning this year, Daylight Savings Time (DST) is starting three weeks earlier than in previous years. That means that this coming Sunday, 11th March, you should move your clocks ahead one hour, beginning 2:00 AM (your local time). Don't forget to "spring" forward! That was announced on tip.it's main page. :XD: Thanks to WithTheQuickness for the sig!
April 26, 200719 yr ive cut alot of magic logs between 75 and 88 wc which i am now and the rate is faster than 75 though not much faster Ex-Wilderness GuardianEx-Solace Retired from F2P clans indefinitely
April 26, 200719 yr I think the reply to the query meant that every interval where you hear the "cut" sound, there is a higher chance of getting the log with wc. Pretty similar to mining actually when you noticed your guy having a different animation with the pick, then it's another interval. Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
April 26, 200719 yr If anyone 99 wc would find himself a 75 fwc friend. They should try between 20 and 100 races for a full inventory. To waste little time walking between trees some place very far away of a bank should be used so no1 else can interfere. If the lvl 99 is quiker for like 80% or more of the time jagex is right. why 80% ? there is always the factor of luck and honestly a difference of 75 to 99 should get him more like a 99% 30 races. Not 20-100. Statistically, when the population standard deviation isn't known, an assumption of a normal distribution (which allows a 2 sample t-test), either a graph must be approximately linear, or n must be at least 30. In other words, if you don't know the actual numbers given by Jagex, you need at least 30 sets of data. talking about an old bump..... I didn't even remember writing that XD, I was like his idea is good, and then I saw it was my own idea XD And about the 30 races.... I said between 20-100 just to say something, best thing would be 100 races, but since people get bored chopping 100 inventories of mage logs I said 20-100 I'm Finally 99 mage ^^ (and cooking...) :PSilver24-7 -
April 26, 200719 yr I still think my dual wielding hatches was one of the greatest ideas ever :XD: Your stance is firm even after two years! =D> I support! (Make a thread ) 99 Hits, Attack, Strength, Defence, Mage, Summoning, Slayer, Ranged, 96/99 Prayer
April 27, 200719 yr One thing i have noticed is that when you are cutting mages when you have the highest wc lvl by about 8 or 10 you get more logs.
April 27, 200719 yr Feels good to know this. I <3 Woodcutting! Now I have something to look forward to. =P~ Resident Tip.it Cow. :^_^:[blog] [twitter]

April 28, 200719 yr My theory has always been that it's different, but it's just too small of a difference for anybody to notice.
April 28, 200719 yr i have 88 wc and im cutting faster than when i had 75, and jagex has comfirmed that it does depend on your wc level. How does it make you feel that you have one of the lowest IQs of anyone on tif? [blingkachi50]

April 29, 200719 yr As a lvl 99 wcer, i want 2 hatchets... I wanna get a mage log a second! 2712 Person to reach 99 Wcing!
April 29, 200719 yr ooh wow very nice to know! ive always thought magics didnt make a difference on what level you wereLvl difference on cutting magics does affects, is that rate of getting magic logs is very irregualr compared to normal trees like yew etc. You can get 1 mage log every 5 minutes or even 3 logs in under 1 minute. Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
