Hahaha. I got the character creation and created an Elf Rouge, Dwarf Warrior and Human Rouge. Need to make a mage.

I think I will do it through on Mage. I heard you have to have a Rouge on your team, no exceptions.

I never used a rogue on my team.

If you have a way of opening chests and bypassing deadly traps, then you don't need a rogue :P

That stupid dragon took me 10 minutes to kill, and about 10 poultices and some lyrium potions, but yeah.

[bleep] you High Dragon. And Force Field broke his instant kill grab too :D

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

I went without a way to disarm traps/open locks, never felt the need to waste a spot for a rogue. For the most part I ran 2 warrior/2 mage. I would have maybe subbed a rogue in but I never got the bard chick and [bleep] the elf.

High Dragon I killed in a few mins pretty easily.

Rogues have the highest melee DPS in the game by far though. Not to mention the pure utility of them is underrated, if you combine traps and stealth.

But that's over and done with, downed the final boss pretty easily, if not for an army of golems and mages.

It seems like this game will have a lot of add-ons/DLCs so maybe I'll just wait until next year if they ever release a GOTY edition *cheapskate*

So this game's good then? I heard about it and have been genuinely interested in it, mostly because it's Bioware, but I haven't really paid much attention to it. I should rent it or something, it sounds fun. There is still Borderlands and Assassin's Creed II to check out, though. So just throwing this out there: Which should I check out first?

I got stuck and rage quit

Up to redcliffe castle, where you go down to the basement and up the stairs to get past the locked door and you get rushed by archers, zombies and a reverent. I can't even keep myself alive long enough to kill the reverent. Having a staff that does no damage against undead doesn't help.

You do know you can open the gate and let the knights in to clean up, right?

Only 35 hours? I expected more from the successor to baldurs gate, even if it isn't a squeal, it is made by the right people to make it a much longer game. I hope it would be at least 50 if you had done all of the side quests.

I spent like one hundred hours in BG city alone :o

Retired

2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

I've heard that there is a massive gulf between the difficulty for the PC and the difficulty for the consoles. From my experience on playing it for the PC its is a VERY hard game. But I might just be no good at it.

Yeah, there's a huge difference between PC and the Consoles, like more enemies on the PC :P

I got this on Thursday, and WOW.

I've gone with a human fighter, as i've done what i do in most RPG's, instead of creating a character, i try to put myself into the game. The start was nothing but epic, something i would expect in a LOTR film.

The game is very fun, annoyingly time consuming as well. It's also incredibly hard (PC version). The troll at the top of the tower took me a few tries. However, the hardest part for me wasn't a boss, it was the basement part of radcliff castle. There is a room with about 8 dogs in it. Whatever i did i could not kill them, i had about 8 tries before giving up.

I've only got up to the town on the right side of the map so far (done radcliff and the mages circle), but the one thing i've noticed so far which bugs me is the lack of new armour/weapons. I have had the same gear for large parts of the game, where in this early stage i would expect to be changing fairly swiftly. However, that is the only fault i can find.

Not sure if anyone else has posted it here yet. I'm very, very excited about this expansion!

About half-way through my second playthrough at the moment. I've never gotten so attached to a group of game characters as I have with this game. :P

Cool.

It's an Ogre

The hardest part for me was in the Deep Roads when you're searching for Branka. Not to mention it's really creepy while Hespith's chanting/singing. Really epic game, especially during that final battle in Denerim.

As for the weapons...I think it depends on your characters' ability to wield weapons. I had Alistair at level 10 and like 30(or more) strength. I was already wielding a silverite (longsword?) doing Lothering. I did the uh...trap thing.

I use Shale (for his high hitting, and area slam attack), Wynne (healer, 'nuff said) and Leliana (she opens locks n crap). My main guy is a warrior dwarf, so it's funny to see a short guy running around with two axes killing things in a few blows. Funny stuff. Also, went back to kill that dragon from the Urn of sacred ashes quest, after I completed it, and (lol) it got stuck on the hill, so we could only attack it from behind, and it could only attack us with it's hind legs and tail. Was annoying because we kept getting pushed back, but otherwise easy kill  I've also heard people say this happened to them at the final battle with the demon.

Unfinished netherrack symbol of Khorne.

Never forget. ~creeper face w/single tear~

DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?!?!

My main's a dual-wield rogue, I let Alistair tank, Morrigan as mage damager and Leliana as ranger/dual-wield. I bring Sten and Ogrhen sometimes for the hilarious conversations.

I have an Arcane Warrior/Blood Mage spec'd mage tank with Alistair to pull some of the fire, Wynne to drop heals, and Leilana for the ranged capabilities.

I think I kinda screwed up my team. I'm midway through The Paragon of Her Nature, and my team is Shale (kinda tank, mostly for the hard hits and abilities) Morrigan, though I'll replace her with Wynne when I get to her. I can't decide between Alistair or Ohgren or Leliana.

My main is an Arcane Warrior Mage, who crowd controls.

Paragon of Her Kind = dwarves quest

Nature of the Beast = elf quest

I used Wynne for healing when I was doing Paragon of Her Kind since the dungeon is really long.
