Its almost a shame that after the war things are going to get very dull again, since there has been such a blow out...and it doesn't seem like it is going to end terribly soon.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Perhaps I should just totally destroy Japan since my hold on it is so tentative...

I don't know, it seems like you are going to get it back anyways, so what's the benefit of me keeping the land nice and pristine. :P

Of course, you basically have two options:

1. Invade and force me to destroy Japan's ecosystem, basically rendering it a giant rock in the ocean with no capacity to support human life by itself (for example, grow crops).

2. Make a peace treaty with me, where your country is still nice and pristine with its unique ecosystem, and perhaps support human life.

The choice is yours, but I'm just doing what is best for myself and it so happens that it is the best option for you.

And you would do that how? I don't suppose you have some mega weapon to take it out.

Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.

Megaweapon? No.

Small explosives and countless alien invasive species, yes. :)

I'm just using 21st century methods for ruining Japan. We have lots of examples all around us. :P

More shipyards being built, atomic assembly units (Henceforth referred to as Matter compilers) are being added to all my previous stations as well as all of the new ones, so that should hopefully increase efficiency.

Oh yeah, and I'm going to start research on a new metal using the matter compilers.

Well there has always been a -200% when attacking by sea. Every unit has to be beached so if they are under fire then it is not just the first 5 million it is everyone. Dusty got around this by deploying two seperate waves of attacks, one to come ashore and make beach-heads and the a second to conduct the major attack, thus was able to push rather further.

What on earth has this got to do with my question?

Japan gets 350% bonus from training and such.

Then why did the attack have a +490% modifer for the outcome infavour of Retech?

I have been told numerous times how many troops are in Japan, at varying times and how many troops are in a number of other countries at the same time. It would be like asking Sere to tell you were all his forces were without referring to a list or something.... I try my best to search for the accurate figures, but me pouring another hour or so in checking everything hardly seems worth it when I have an idea of what the number is already in my head. It would be fine if there was some uniformed system of imputing data, then I could just grab that and get on with it, but because there are a number of different methods I can't centralize in any meaningful way.

Why would you take what Sere says over what I've said? Even so, I'm fairly sure we stated, consistently, numerous times, that there were 15 million troops stationed in Japan

'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I!

The System of Free Worlds has declared that unless all sides agree to the following terms the Moon will be destroyed and/or the SFW will declare war on the Licht.(You can blame Retech, Sere and Doom for this, all giving me ideas on how to end the war.)

(I am granting a 20 hour extension (So Sunday 5PM) to the round and all pre-existing war plans have been cancelled as all sides pause to consider the threat)

The Sol Doctrine:

Moon Clause

The New World Order will be dissolved.

Earth will fall under the joint Rulership of Germania and Brazil West of the Great Wall of Europe/East Coast of Africa Russia and Malaysia East of the Great Wall of Europe/East Coast of Africa, the division will be decided between them and the land can be divided further by them if they so wish. (Simple map)

Licht Clause

The Licht will withdraw from the Sol system and be granted immunity from having their home planet destroyed, if they leave their home-system for any reason other than trade this is nullified) and will result in a state of war existing between the SFW and the Licht.

General Clause

The Sol System outside of Earth will be demilitarized, meaning no ship can enter unless it carries no weapons(This is not including SFW ships). Any ship that does enter the system(Which is not an SWF or medical or trade ship), regardless of SFW alliances at the time, will be fired on.

Adrigas will be off-limits to all non-SFW worlds. All trade will be conducted by Europa station in the Sol System.

Any alliance which declares war on the SFW will have their system destroyed and their people exterminated.

In other news a new ship, the Calvert Class, has been commissioned. This is a UHB type ship, next to the Caravels which are SB class.

The Calvert Class is larger, has two Quark Generators and features Naquadah-Quark Gated Torpedos(These missiles are Star Destroyers, converting a star to a Quark Star, which will subsequently tear a system apart)

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Ok, no offense Archi, but how the [bleep] did in like 20 years of being in the game did you manage to get a weapon that can destroy an entire system, develop an unfairly powerful energy source, somehow get strange matter, and so on? The basic rules for new players is that they start with a certain number of people, and budget, with average technology levels. You've managed to somehow develop the most unrealistic and overpowered technology with a small amount of people and resources in a tiny amount of time. I don't even understand how you think you could turn a star into strange matter.

Though consistent use of resources, not dependent on a budget, (To be honest forget the bit about the Calvert class, its a silly idea), unfettered by trade or diplomatic negotiations and, to be honest a pristine vision of what I wanted to do.

Anyway, for more direct answers:

Ok, no offense Archi, but how the [bleep] did in like 20 years of being in the game did you manage to get a weapon that can destroy an entire system,

Thats fairly elementary, since Strange Matter destroys normal matter, converting it to strange matter. Though before I thought of that the general plan was to destroy people on the planets using my ships.

develop an unfairly powerful energy source

Its hardly unfair. It uses mass like it was water(which in many cases it is =P). It is also perfectly accessible for everyone to develop within only a few years. Like the Atom bomb, it was developed in only a few years because it was necessary to develop it(or at least the USA thought so), but it could have been developed earlier on if so required.

, somehow get strange matter, and so on

Strange matter... basically large amounts of energy focused in a small area.

The basic rules for new players is that they start with a certain number of people, and budget, with average technology levels.

10 million people, of which all could have been killed on the first day.

Budget, well that is not included since everyone could have been killed on the first day.

Average technology levels, yup, definitely had that.

You've managed to somehow develop the most unrealistic

The most progressive

and overpowered technology

And extreme

with a small amount of people

Committed to not dying

and resources

I don't know, three planets is not a small amount

in a tiny amount of time.

Twenty years is not really a short space of time, considering that the USA developed nuclear fission in only a few years and nuclear Fusion in only 4 more years. Indeed the soviets managed it in 3 years(I believe).

Unlike cold Fusion or Fusion power the technology I am talking about is not unbelievably tricky... for the most part it is fundamentally simple, like banging rocks together.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

How did you make your fusion efficient? Having the ability to create fusion does not make it viable. The most efficient we've ever gotten a fusion reaction to be was producing 60% of the energy needed to maintain it.

Any strange matter weapons wouldn't even be able to get close to the sun, much less any large mass.

In this game 20 years is a short period of time.

Ok. Reading the past few pages...

I've decided that with the new tech, I really don't stand a chance in a war. I'm going to have to temporairly drop out of the NWO. I will be returning in years to come, but for now, I can't risk getting dragged into a war, owing to my low population and army.

I don't have Fusion!

Since my reactor takes in matter and destroys most of it....Using your figures:

76,000,000,000,000,000 Watts worth of energy converted into 11.6 Gigawatts.

So an efficiency of 0.00000152631578947368.

But yeah, I agree about the sun thing, but only because of heat factor.

Edit: Destroys/creates strange matter(obviously)

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I fail to see how. The energy you put into a coal fire is probably about 500 watts(or something equally as ridiculously small), but the energy you get out of it is probably many millions of times that. So measuring the energy in/energy out is only really applicable to Fusion, because currently the reaction is entirely inefficient, where as Coal and Quark Fusion(which isn't Fusion) are nominally efficient, but Coal has something like 30% efficiency and Quark Power has a very small decimal of a number.

The difference is that I am liberating energy and creating strange matter, in that order; you are creating matter and liberating energy, in that order.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

So basically I have to surrender all Britannian lands on Earth as well as my population and then rule a world that barely has any people on it? What?

You have to surrender any territory(except Russia) in Europe and Africa, including Egypt(Unless Doom/Dusty let you have it). (You get the bit between the two red lines, well shared with Grim)

The SFW have got tired of seeming millions of Humans being pointlessly slain for no real reason.

And basically even if you beat Doom and Dusty you are ruling a world with practically no people on it anyway, this is just the SFW trying to prevent more needless loss of life.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Egypt isn't Britannian territory. It belongs to the Holy Empire, which I highly doubt would be willing to surrender Egypt.

Then you had better say goodbye to the moon(and probably a sizable part of Earth's Ecosystem, possibly even a sizable chunk of Earth too) or begin negotiations with Doom/Dusty.

(Britannia and Malaysia are the countries with sizable fleets in orbit, so they get to decide, since I would prefer not to have to fight all of them. Doom and Dusty control the most land though...)

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Archi, I'm interested in purchasing the quark fusion generator technology from your race.

How does 15 Trillion over 10 years sound?

Also, we godmodded people onto other planets before, why can't we do that in this case?

Simply move all of Sere's people to his planet in Sega-Res.

I'll tell you what, you give me your matter compliers and AI research from say, 10 years ago?, and I will give you the quark generators, electron lattice and a once over in how to control Strange matter(Since it produces that as a by-product you need to deal with that too)

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
