Project Flying Fish is almost finished. My ships have returned to Harakkis to be outfitted with the new equipment.

 

Two new heavy battleships have been completed.

 

10 million soldiers have completed their training and are now being put to work digging E2S missile silos and building space glider - carrier ships.

 

I have updated my E2S missiles to carry fusion warheads, the schematics for which I procured from Grim.

Ok that is quite enough. With RPGs departure from the NWO a seperate peace needs to be worked out, so Doom either give him back the territory in Africa or agree on something.

The war has drained everyones resources to breaking point so the figures following are now binding:

 

The NWO is down to 39 million total and Germania is down to 45 Million total, the Licht are down to .5 million and Doom is on something like 2 million standing and 80 millions who can be drafted.

Additional militas are made up of the barely able so will be fighting at +100% rather than the usual +200%, thus meaning an army of 10 million is only worth 20 million manpower points. Compared to a Doom army of 10 million which is worth 70 million.

 

Grim's manpower reserve is indeed unapped but I am only going to accept deployments from him, no one else on his behalf.

 

Also the tearing space idea is explained better in Hyperion by Dan Simmons. It does not breaking the Uncertainty principle because you are not reconsituting matter manually you are just throwing a load of mass though a tear and shielding that mass before it can be pulled out on the other side by another machine.

The laser idea similarly does not break the Uncertainty principle because you are not recording anything you are just deconstituting matter into energy, which is not controlled in anyway, firing it across space at lightspeed, and then refocusing the energy into matter at the other side. It can't do people but it sure beats sending stuff by transporter.

And, you plan to gain what from sending your men into subspace? Removing them from existance?

I plan to develop a way to pull them out again by another farcaster somewhere else. For the intents and purposes of the game I shall say that they have to be within the same solar gravity well.

 

My use of Naquadah might be a little bit overpowered, I plan to kick out about 50*400 Gigawatts in a minute, but that will be for one minute and will waste a full 50 Kg of it.

Because he is defending, all he has to do is shoot your men as they appear, your men have to get their, find his men, and then shoot his men. Defenders have always had a tactical advantage, except when they are encircled.

 

Wouldn't constant warping cost SERIOUS amounts of energy? How can you maintain a speed like that? I'm not believeing this galactic rift thing wither.

Not especially, you are basically forming a blackhole(well not a black blackhole but a hole like a blackhole) inside a contained area using highly localised Quarks. To spare you the details it will cost me about 4 grams of matter a second to keep a single square milimeter open. To get a human or something though would take somethink like 9000 times that? I don't know, fact is it would not be terribly sensible. Far more sensible to combine the two ideas and fire a stream of energy though a 1 mm appature and then reconsitute it on the other side...No humans but again, does away with the need for transports.

Archi, I thought that you said yesterday that the NWO had 190M soldiers left (Britannia + Holy Empire mainly). This was before the round ended of course, but we should still have about 130-140M troops left.

The figures then were guestimates, when I actually went and worked them out(which I had assumed people had been doing...I had 5 hours on a train with nothing to do so....) you have that many left. Drafting more people would be seriously damaging to all the countries involved.

I'm only foggy at night and clear from I stand up until about 23:00 but I think my brain should be pretty mad at me, I often stay up until 3:30 and don't fall asleep until four o'clock, that's only three hours of sleep, so it should be starved, unless my brain has addapted to it and goes directly into REM-sleep( :-k that might be why I never remember dreaming anymore).

Sounds like you have a bad case of insomnia. It sucks. I used to do that over the summer, but I gradually trained myself to fall asleep at normal times.

I am looking for a peace treaty by the way. I have reached my goal, and I don't want to fight for a while until all these countries are back on track. On the other hand, I could use this to my advantage. Then again, 100 million dead out of 150 million is a pretty severe blow. Then again, the economy doesn't suffer as those people would be in the military anyways.

About 12-13 million now. I haven't calculated by population for a good 30 years or so, and back then it was around 100 million. So I might have more.
