archimage_a
Not really.... Since its basically a conflict between super power obviously there will be a lot of Heavy battleships floating around. If it was a conflict between me and Retech(say) then it would probably be a conflict mainly fought between battleships, so escorts would make quiet a lot of difference. Any just wanted to announce that on monday my 40 strong fleet will be completed and will be warp keeping(outside of a system so not subject to the .5 rule so can stay at warp) near Alpha Centuri (as the center of the map) so they can respond to any point on the map within 1.5 days(Effectively can turn up in the next round(Though too late to influence any battle that was in progress.)), rather than within 3 days(3 rounds later). Anyway I am going to bed, I bid you aduie. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts. Grim_
As part of ARCHIVE C massive underground facilities have been completed on all of my colonized planets and even larger ones on earth. Another part of ARCHIVE C has been completed which was missiles that instead of exploding shoot out a cloud of flack (installed in super carriers/freighters/farm ships and are around the size of ICBM's) they use far less fuel than in the atmosphere and can thus pack much more flack in than you would expect. Each super carrier/freighter/farm ship has 200 of said flak missiles installed.

archimage_a
Breaking news this hour, the Russian armed forces have invaded North America. The Russians, under the leadership of one Vald the Imperial, have steadily been building up to this attack for the passed year. Early decelerations declaring the intentions were followed by the epic space battle last year and the destruction of the Brazilian First Sea Fleet by orbital bombardment. The fleet had been moved to the area after reports of impending invasion were circulated by an unknown party. The fleet was rebuilt quickly and efficiently by the Brazilian naval stations south of the equator, but was again raised by orbital attack as the Russians made use of orbital strategic strike satellites placed in orbit at the start of the year. The Brazilian forces, eager to prevent further destruction have launched Earth to Space missiles, destroying the satellites and again tried to move ships into the area in early July, but were stunned to find that floating arc towers and a mine field stretching from coast to coast prevented them from reaching their destination. As the Brazilian fleet ran aerial bombardment attacks on the minefield, suffering heavy casualties as the towers discharged bolts of power through the air. With the surface route blocked submarines were employed, along with Litchen HE troops, but it was soon discovered that the towers could strike the surface of the water as well, creating a discharge beneath the surface which proved fatal. Meanwhile the Russian forces crossed the Pacific Ocean via the Bering Straits, landing in Alaska and after a long beach conflict were able to break out with twelve million troops remaining from a party which began its journey at close to twenty million. Now the forces push into Canada. We will bring you more as the story develops. In Europe the invasion of Russian Sweden exposed vital weaknesses in Germanic manpower as the thirteen million strong force, including all of the defensive personal earmarked for the two most Northern provinces, were killed in the invasion of Sweden and the succeeding counter attack, which also stalled early on due to manpower shortages, managed to seize the two undefended provinces without major issue. This manpower shortage was further demonstrated on the Russian boarder where the force of fifty million, including a large number from France and Britains defensive forces, were slaughtered by the forty five million Russian/Holy Empire forces, who made minor advances into Germanic held territory before resistance became too great. In Southern Europe though the vital weakness of the New World Orders manpower strategy was demonstrated with the liberating of vast swathes of Bulgaria without major resistance as the Bulgarians bypassed minefields as they were found, leading to less than a thousand casualties overall. Further demonstrated of the weakness in manpower suffered by the Tsardom of Russia with the loss of Japan as a nation. The Lichtes attacked the Island with a force numbering over thirty million and quickly overcame the twenty million strong defenders. As the Lichtes moved to solidate their position an uprising of over thirty million civilians threatened to unseat them. The rebels armed with weapons stored in the case of such invasion. Their uprising though failed, leaving half a million Licht forces as well as some two million Humans who had been brainwashed over the passed few years. With Japan temporarily subdued the Licht lead a short attack on one of the largest island to thenorth which fell without much resistance. The inhabitancies were then forcibly transferred to the Japanese mainland. The fleeing Japanese leader has promised to return, but with the manpower crisis it seems unlikely that the New World Order will be able to marshal a force without sacrificing troops else where. Our reporters have indicated that wide scale brainwashing has been undertaken in Japan, potentially leading to a sixty million strong force within the next twenty years. But outbreaks of violence continue to threaten to destablise the minority control, it is suspected that the Licht will lose all control next year unless the NWO suffer a morale crushing defeat. But not all is well for the Lichtes as the New World Order, spearheaded by Malaysia and Russia, has deployed a massive force which has wiped out all undersea Colonies. The war on the Lichten has undoubtedly devastated the fragile ecosystem and Brazil has deplored the Russians use of plasma bombs, tesla shocks and heat cannons in the war. Russia has callously continued stating the need for safe transit to America and the destruction of the invading alien masses which pose a threat to sentient life everywhere as the reason. Russia has also deployed its might against the Litch land colony which is shares a boarder with. The Litch were driven out. Death tolls:55 Million Germanics53 Million NWO65.6 Million Licht(Including Human subjects)(Total number of Licht on Earth is now 500,000)3 Million Brazilian http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. Retech
Excellent! Japan is mine! Now perhaps you wish you agreed to that peace treaty anyways Sere. Now I control Japan, brainwashing her citizens, and I'm at war with you! How do you like them kelp fruit! On another note, since I have reached my goal on Earth, I would accept a peace treaty. For some small islands of course. :) Pm me if you'd like to negotiate. You might need it, since you are being crushed in Europe. Oh btw, thanks for doing the reports Arch. And I'm sorry to say it but what you are researching is the same as Stargates, which I numberous times have been told not to research.PS: The correct name for a hole in space-time is a wormhole, they can be opened by accelerating electrones to a speed just FTL, they will transport matter one way but any kind of radiation(including radio signals) both ways. a_bert
Yeah, because a 30 million strong mature force of Lichtes just appeared. It's just as bad for the NWO's numbers outnumbering Germania's by so much apparently. I'm really dissapointed to be honest 'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I! Seraphi
We agreed that we wouldn't be using any warp technology, sorry. And for the life of me I still cannot understand how Naquadah creates more energy? Wouldn't that technically be game breaking? Could I just make it run in a continous loop, continually creating more energy? Also, they weren't floating ARC cannons, they were either point defense cannons or Prometheus tanks (Just so nobody moans at me). I'm losing interest in Earth. I'm not shure how it does it, but it does amplify energy, but it does not do it to a gamebreaking extent. And if you think it is stupid to use anything we do not know how exactly works, let me tell you one thing; We(and to a small extent Archi) are the only ones who explain our techs and materials that mouch. And yes, you could make an infinite loop with Naquadah, but that would cause the Naquadah to violently overload (due to molecular instability caused by a massive negative ionization building up within it) after a few seconds, incinerating within 3km per kilo used. archimage_a
Sere said there were. Retech has used all of his spare forces so is now limited to .5 million on Earth + Japanese brainwashing program. Warp Technology, its not really warp technology, its more inter-planetary transport options. My other thought was laser transporters; big laser shoots you into atoms which are then sent hurling across space and reconsitutes you at the other side... kind of like transporters except not so much energy/cpu usage... Made a mistake with the NWO numbers, they have 53 million dead(92 million was the number engaged this turn. )The NWO is down to 39 million total and Germania is down to 45 Million total, the Licht are down to .5 million and Doom is on something like 2 million standing and tens of millions of men(Probably around 40 with the draft). I plan to use the Naquadah to create quarks, since it is a superheavy element.... PS. I plan to create a tear, not a wormhole, a wormhole implies it comes out somewhere else, a tear just implies that you made a hole, which is basically what I am doing. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. archimage_a
Since I am using it in space and destroying the atom entirely, producing only a small amount of hydrogen and helium(The smaller the elements I destroy the more of the light elements reform because there are less strange quarks) http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. Seraphi
By "warp" I meant instantanious travel, and there was a majority vote against allowing it a while back when Mather first started trying to make stargates. Anyways, thanks for explaining about naquadah, and as long as you can assure me that it is in no way overpowered, then whatever. I made up a metal too, so I guess it's good.I'd also like to buy one bar of naquadah., for some research I have planned. Speaking of which, I started researching warfare nanotechnology a few days ago (I announced it in PM). I also finished reverse engineering and upgrading Mather's atomic dissassembly machine quite a while back (25 years ago or something  ), so that will likely see some use. Wisp
Ship factories, as of last year are now producing war ships over the Americas. Project ANDY's budget is being kicked up tremendously, it can now produce 5x as fast (Yea, a surge in funding, but not for research, for production). Archi, your interplanetary thing breaks Heisenburg's uncertainty principle. We're getting a constant stream of recruits now, and millions that joined over the past decade are prepared for combat. Project PW is beginning. Also. Invading the Americas will lead to the deaths of all your soldiers. For no other reason than you're 1: Invading through the arctic.
