July 27, 200916 yr I say it like guh-thicks. Where did you get the f from? :? thicks = fix ;) I use to say gew-thicks back in the day of f2p XD
July 27, 200916 yr arm-a-dill is how I pronounce it :? EDIT: not 'a' as how you pronounce 'a' cow but different, a in English is differently pronounced as a in Dutch, I mean the dutch version. I am dutch too, and you could say the dutch "a" sounds as "mah" (without the m) so it would be: ar-mah-dill http://sign.tip.it/1/2/79/260/essiw.png Retired item crew I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum. Thanks!

July 27, 200916 yr Sorry guys, but its obviously Ar-mah-geddon. :P Soz, couldn't help it. It's like everyone said, Ar-mah-dill. Or, if you're a pirate, it Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-mah-dill, matey! Again, couldn't help it. -.- I need a life >.>
July 27, 200916 yr well tbh when you think about it the word Armadyl is most likely derived from the word Armadillo. And since you don't prenounce it Arm - Ah - Dilo i would have to say that the correct way to prenounce Armadyl would be Arm-Ah-Dil. Just a thought. God of justice who controls bird like creatures =/= Shelled marsupial. We must remember this is just a game. Bunyip for example is a aborigany mytholgical creature but it looks nothing like it does in RS. We must always remember, RS is a game with many ideas from the real world. Did i put that simple enough for you? I know what the bunyip is in the stories, and its not entirely different. Bunyip in stories - Monster that lives in a lake, has some fish-like features. Bunyip in Runescape - Fish like monster. A walking fish  **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
July 27, 200916 yr dyl is most languages is pronounced "dill" however, the word parma, for example is pronounce pair-ma. Depends on what dialect you are, but I would pronounce it either arm-ma-dill or air-ma-dill
July 27, 200916 yr dyl is most languages is pronounced "dill" however, the word parma, for example is pronounce pair-ma. Depends on what dialect you are, but I would pronounce it either arm-ma-dill or air-ma-dill Its the same thing when it comes to Saradomin. Some would say Seh - Rah - Dome - In and others would say Sah - Rah - Doh - Min (As in Domino without the last O) or something like that. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
July 27, 200916 yr Arm Uh Dill Goo Thicks - I knew someone with the last name Guthimiller and it was said Goothmiller so I read it like that. Sah - Rah - Doh - Min - I think this is how I read it.
July 27, 200916 yr Use the technique your taught to spell words as a kid, say what you see. If you break it up in to syllables it is: "arm a dyl so" thats how you say it. (yes, I do say knife) Goo thicks sounds very posh to me  IM GOING TO LIVE FOREVER .......... or die trying
July 27, 200916 yr Goo thicks sounds very posh to me  Haha i second that. Tbh it would be easier to think about a word that sounds similar to the one you're using. For example there a South African Rugby player with the name Gurthro and he pronounces his name as Guth - Row so i think the same kind of thing applies to Guthix. I don't think its a long OO sound but more of a short Uh sound. Similar to that of the GU in Gun or Gust to use easy examples. Since there are no punctuation marks on the names (marks like the Acute accent, circumflex, grave accent, etc) it makes it hard to be 100% sure about the correct pronunciation. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
July 27, 200916 yr There was a Post Bag From the Hedge thing that asked the Gods how they pronounced their names and how they pronounced some cities. Idk if it still exists but I'll look for it. Edite: Found it, was in a God Letter http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=424 But it only tells you about Saradomin, Guthix, and Zamorak.
