Bolt spells no longer Gain EP.

 

After a certain time of not doing any damage (either 0s or splashing) You can be attacked by other players.

 

 

 

Before, splashing spells meant you couldn't be attacked.

This also means if you farcast someone and splash, you can be PJed.

This was actually done yesterday; people have been trying to think of more afk Ep-gainers ever since. They'll probably find one eventually, and then it'll start all over again.

Really? As soon as I logged on yesterday at around 12 PM PST, #windstrike was offering op for anyone who found a new way to get afk ep, and a few of my friends had told me it was nerfed.

JaGex is finally doing good with their PVP updates...was about time. :

But so far, these updates are getting decent - they're making players actually PK for their cash. Let's hope they keep it up.

I don't see why they can't switch back to old drops now.. DFS was what.. 15m while it was a drop and now its 20m? BCP, which wasn't dropped was 13m and now its 17.. them not being dropped didn't make those prices go up, inflation did. And even the legit pkers are bringing a large pile of money into the game. The chance of getting a visage from a dragon is low, the chance of getting a dfs before from a player was also low.. the drops and their drop frequency evened themselves out. I wouldn't give props to Jagex for their PVP updates until they fix the problem that made tons of items nearly double in price.

the problem was the ammount of extra money brought in by easy money on "pk'ing", if so many people get so much money without losing any, they can afford to bid max and get whatever they want, times this by however many people were 26k'ing and everything goes up in price, legit pk'ers get money yes, but they earned it, the people who didnt brought the prices up, while regular none trickers were left either joining in or not being able to afford anything

Holy crap! I reccomended this about 3 weeks ago. I said if in a battle through 4 rounds if no one hits stop the fight and make them click on the person again to start it back. This way if people afk raising ep someone can come by and kill them. I'll have to go to rsof and find the topic.
