hihihi727
Holy crap! I reccomended this about 3 weeks ago. I said if in a battle through 4 rounds if no one hits stop the fight and make them click on the person again to start it back. This way if people afk raising ep someone can come by and kill them. I'll have to go to rsof and find the topic. OMFG! You are literally the only person who ever suggested this idea! I'm so [bleep] surprised that Jagex didn't credit you in this weeks update! I bet you smiled after you posted that didn't you? Your one of those 16yr old kids who thinks he so badass cuz he's a smartass online. You provided nothing to the conversation except a sarcastic and pointless statement meant to do nothing but try and belittle someone. You are what is wrong with the rs community Today versus the one I started with 6 years ago. I guess he could have been nicer... but to be fair your post (the one i'm quoting now) probably "provided less to the conversation" than his one did
walka92
I don't see why they can't switch back to old drops now.. DFS was what.. 15m while it was a drop and now its 20m? BCP, which isn't dropped was 13m and now its 17.. them not being dropped didn't make those prices go up, inflation did. And even the legit pkers are bringing a large pile of money into the game. The chance of getting a visage from a dragon is low, the chance of getting a dfs before from a plater was also low.. the drops and their drop frequency evened themselves out. I wouldn't give props to Jagex for their PVP updates until they fix the problem that made tons of items nearly double in price. no, just no the old drops were better for the economy than the statuets [bleep] up I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
NukeMarine
What Jagex will probably do in retaliation of the Morgan Javelin suggestion on this thread is: A: Stackable items/perishable items do count toward EP. This messes up rangers and mages, so likely not a good solution or B: In PvP fights, arrows/missiles are visible to everyone. Messes with rangers, but it's fair since if you did throw something at someone they should be able to keep it. If they go with B, people trying the Morgan Javelin trick lose their javelin while their opponent gets a javelin and loses 0 EP since they killed someone not carrying enough. Rollyboy
Jagex should take items from the G.E, and use them as drops in PvP. Money / items are not generated out of thin air. Though EP'ing will still be possible, balance will be restored. sadukar123
1.carry black dhide body and one morrigans jav into a non +1 world. 2.autoretaliate on. 3.when someone attacks you, you automatically drop your ep value, and they wont get a drop. 4.retrieve 60k jav. Right, so use a 60k weapon that has a 25% of breaking and otherwise last only 1 hour. Tim
Goodbye 76king You can still stand in level 1 wilderness for 2 hours and get EP. Only this method gives the risk of being killed by rushers *looks at Bruno* or other pkers. Good job Jagex. =D I have made like 50m from 26/76king, and I haven't died with tank gear + d spear watching movies while in edgeville level 1 yet. Look at your bank value. Enough said. The only thing Im wondering about is that if by a chance I was maging and hit 0's a little too much, someone (Glares at Bruno around the corner) will run up and go "Look out someone is rushing you!!!" and bam, there goes some odd 100k+. :| Popoto.~<

Johannas
I wish they could this make up their mind - every single week a tiny update comes that changes everything. It's unfair on the claw owners like myself, who don't even pk/76k. All i want to do is enjoy minigames without having to worry about the value of my items, and because of this messed up PVP situation everything that happens/they try to fix/break/nerf has a knock on effect to the people who own these items and don't want to try and break the system. Jagex still haven't learnt that there cannot be an amazing solution without the old wildy/free trading back. I'm fed up with all these compromises they are making, and i'm not even a pker! Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!

aznmidget448
Lol, if people keep trying to do things Jagex clearly doesn't want them to do, then they'll just change the rules to get rid of it. The 76kers were just asking for this update and probably knew it wouldn't last very long :) IMO, gj jagex :P

It's just how far they are willing to go to rid the game of 76kers. Removing the ditch, or making BH back into a mini-game or sorts rather than a whole world would certiainly change things for level 1 tankers. You could just be annoying and single out 1 tanker and just keep attacking that person everytime they enter the wild. Also you could entangle/freeze and dragon scim spec and then mage them maybe get lucky and kill them before they can use prayer again. http://www.clanhavok.net/

Punitive_D
All i want to do is enjoy minigames without having to worry about the value of my items That's simple then. Buy what you want for your minigames and don't worry about what you can sell them for. If you use them, you don't want to sell them anyway. Only merchants should care about prices going up and down. Edit: Sorry for not reading entire thread -- I see someone already has made this point.

That makes no sense, no one really likes losing money on their items. Although can't see how this update has any negative effects with claws, since players (76kers) are less safe they will be easier targets for claw pjers/rushers. Thanks Gradeskip93 for my awesome sig! Just because no one likes it, doesn't mean it shouldn't be a part of the game. Teaches an aspect of life. If I buy a brand spanken new car today, next year it's going to be worth significantly less. Did say it should not be part of the game? Quit making presumptions. But creating auras of uncertainty always creates that opportunity for merchers to destabilise items. At least when they announce changes everyone has the opportunity to decide what to do with their items at the same time. And as for me most of my items i got myself so I really could not care less as I have always gained either way. Thanks Gradeskip93 for my awesome sig!
