Paranoia

Featured Replies

I'm not really paranoid, but I do tend to occasionally bridge negative sequences together and predict the worst possible outcomes.

Also, speaking of personality types, INFJ here.

Oh, I forgot to add that I always feel that either the world is against me or that everyone just plain hates me. Of course, neither are true. It's a weird feeling. It's probably not so much paranoia as it is the vast amounts of time that I spend on my own, though.

I'm paranoid about people breaking into my house... so paranoid... Probably because All I watch on TV is investigation discovery and court tv.

I sometimes think that everyone can read minds but me and I am out of the loop so everyone else can't read eachothers thoughts but they silently prey on me. More recently when I was thinking of this I noticed how sometimes me and other people think of things at the exact same time so I convinced myself that people (or just me) could project thoughts and make them heard in th eback of other peoples minds. It went on for a week being half convinced that all my thoughts weren't mine. It sounds more realistic than going around reading minds  .

When I was younger, I thought of the possibility of the world being a large studio, trying to appear normal to me until I reach 21, when they'll tell me the truth and let me be ruler of the earth. My parents were actors, everybody I knew and saw were actors, foreign places were made up and the footage/pictures were shot in studios. Kinda like in those stories where the kid doesn't know he has royal blood until a magical wizard comes into play.

I always have a feeling that I'm about to die.

I never really have paranoia, just fears which sprout from subtle paranoia in things like public speaking and such.

[iNSERT "I R EATIN TEH SHIX ATM" BILL COSBY SIGNATURE GIF HERE, LOL]

I get paranoid about things that repeatedly beep, like the microwave or the washing machine.

Here's a fresh one, you can tell it's been a while since I've driven: Before I get in the car, I look around the backseat and make sure nobody is back there. If it's dark, I'll even check under the car from a safe distance.

I allways hate to turn of the light at night although being in the dark doesn't scare me, only turning the light of.

I always check for cameras and double check that my door is locked. I keep it locked whenever possible anyway, so it wouldn't arouse suspicion. I have been extra cautious since mum almost caught me. :ohnoes:

I'm paranoid of 3AM. If my lamp's still on for some reason (like I went to bed late), I will leave it on until the hour passes. I'm also kind of scared of the dark in general, so there's always some degree of paranoia until I fall asleep.

Apparently, some people think it's the "Demonic hour" or some crap. I'm not religious or anything, but watching too many of those damn "paranormal" shows made me paranoid. :?

A little paranoia is normal.

I agree, I'd even say it's healthy. A defense mechanism is really what it is. If you're walking down a dark road all alone you're probably going to feel a little scared and imagine the worst-possible-scenario. But I think that's exactly what prepares you in case something actually does happen. If you're expecting a masked guy with a chainsaw to come out from the woods, you're probably a lot better off than someone who is convinced that nothing dangerous is in the woods.

I'd be more paranoid about a bear or something then a guy with a chainsaw.. but I agree its better to be a little paranoid then not at all.

The cat follows me everywere!!

My dog will often sit in a room across the hallway and just stare at someone in the next room. It's really weird, and whoever she's watching feels almost like they're being judged. She won't even move, just sit and stare. Kind of funny, too, and it's not just me, so it's not really me being paranoid.

My dog does that too. I'm on the computer or something and he's a room away, or even in the same room. Whenever I look over at him, he'll be staring at me and he won't stop.

Whenever I do something private (go to the bathroom, change, etc.), I always have to look around once to really make sure no one is there. I'm also paranoid about huge spiders hiding under the rim of the toilet and biting me when I sit down, because one time there was actually a huge, black spider in the toilet. I'm also paranoid about snakes crawling up the bathroom drain, because one time, when I was taking a bath, a 1-foot garden snake slid up the drain right next to my outstretched feet. I'm also paranoid about roaches crawling up my bed, and getting on my feet, because one time, there was a big fat roach crawling all over my toes.

By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .

I'm always paranoid that I'm not going to make it in life. I always wonder if I'm gonna get a good job or if the economy will be bad and jobs will be hard to find. Also scared of a nuclear war or something before I die of old age.

Also paranoid about if I'm ever gonna find a girlfriend to be my wife and if I'll be single or married for the rest of my life.

Wow, I am exactly like this. I have fears of staying single for the rest of my life, never finding a wife. being alone is just a scary thought for me.

I clean my toilet completely before I use it because of my fear of bugs =/

Marriage is a lose-lose situation. If you get married, you're stuck with the same person everyday. If you don't, you're stuck thinking that you're missing out on something.
