Damn no Toony, Deja Vu Xiii, Gertjaars, Elias, + tons of others. Hiscores doesn't feel right anymore. If they wanted there to be competitiveness, just remove 200m caps, ranks don't matter for most people after the 1st page.

 

Edit, or they could've just made 200m cap for skills, for overall ranks, but in the actual skill ranks themselves, let them go past 200m. So rank 1 overall isn't rank 1 cooking.

Sad day... I wish they returned the hiscores before 2011.

If you don't want to be without your completionist cape for a year you'll have to do all the upcoming holiday events. Jagex made it so that if you miss a music track from one of them, you'll have to wait a year to unlock it.

Before all the music tracks related to holiday events got unlocked automatically when the event got removed from the game.

 

This shit happened to me because I didn't do this years h'ween event. Now I am stuck with a max cape until next October

What do you mean? I don't really see your point in posting that. We can't even see what page that is so it's hard to know what's going on.

I was commenting on the fact that the official reason given for removing f2p was because there were so many bots on the hiscores that were f2p, and that the hiscores update was intended to remove them. What I posted was an entire screen of obvious bots in a row on the overall hiscores after the update - as evidence, if there was any further evidence needed, that this reason was absolute nonsense.

Could also consider other mices on the site, for the time being, you could eliminate the double clicking issue with a simple software fix, which will kill the second click if it happens too fast.

This is a small utility program I wrote to correct a problem that is experienced by some users of the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer Optical Mouse, whose devices have defective microswitches under the buttons causing a single-click to be seen by Windows as a double-click (seemingly not "debounced" properly).

 

Contrary to Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 266738 IntelliMouse: Mouse Double-Clicks When You Try to Single-Click this problem is most likely to be caused by faulty hardware. However, I couldn't be bothered sending my mouse back, so I wrote a software solution to the problem.

 

For my mouse, the problem seems to be that the switch isn't "debounced" when you release the button i.e. when you release it, it actually clicks again. Basically, the program intercepts "up" events for the left mouse button, and ignores any subsequent "up" events that follow within a very small time.
