I know the Northeastern division, and I know that Toronto has been bad, and idk when they will ever get good..haha. August 29, 200916 yr I admit as Toronto has slumped more and more I've followed the NHL less and less, but still retain some interest. I'm sure Toronto will fail miserably as usual, oh well. I don't understand why the NHL is so opposed to the Coyotes moving to Hamilton, it's clear they aren't profitable in Phoenix. Anyone care to enlighten me? August 30, 200916 yr Author Hoping for Calgary to go all the way. : Calgary had a nice season last year, 98 points. But their playoffs ended early against Chicago. As long as Kiprusoff is on his game, they can do anything. But....as seen in the Western Conference quarter-finals, Kipper was NOT on his game, giving up 19 goals, in just 6 games, with a save percentage of .884. That goes to show you, goal-tending really really matters. August 30, 200916 yr Let's go Oilers! Weighing in on the Phoenix issue: as a resident of the GTA, I can tell you that we really could use another team. That isn't to say we need one, but it's be ineresting to see how the team does. That said, the people of Glendale have never been given the opportunity to pay money to see even a half-decent team play. Let's be honest, Phoenix has never put together a good team since coming there in '96. I say leave them there for a few years, give the fans a chance to see guys like Michaelek (sp?) and Ballard play for a while. If nothing improves it's time to move on. [English translation needed]

September 1, 200916 yr Blackhawks I think the whole Patrick Kane incident was soooo embarrassing for the hawks. Although I do seem to think there was more behind the story given by the media. Hopefully the hawks will do well this year; although, Huet chokes in big games and they're going to call up Corey Crawford or Antti Niemi sooo hopefully the goaltending will be good without Khabby :wall:
