I've figured on the lowest boat in a Pc world (not a clan) its 2mins a game roughly so about 900 minutes for the full set. Which is 15 hours or so.

 

 

 

On pc worlds the med boat will win every 10 games or so. :|

Void range > armadyl....Void range saves you millions and is the best range gear out there.

Void Range isn't better than the conventional Black D'hide/Armadyl set up on every safespottable monster like most of you seem to think. Void is alot better on things with low defence/high HP, like Blue Dragons, Black Demons etc, Armadyl is better on things with lots of defence like Black Dragons etc.

 

 

 

But overall I'd say it's worth it, it's very nice to have and if you grab a blessed spirit shield you can do most tasks with a bunyip without having to use safespots all the time.

Anyways, it's better for almost every monster that doesn't have REALLY high defense (Steel drags-ish at maxed range). And it's NOT worth getting considering the time, even though it is better unless you plan on ranging passed 99.

i'd get it and go with the high lvl boat (if you can, haven't checked your lvl). I used PC worlds and usually won 4 out of 5.

on topic: mathematically, it might not really be worth it, but it is nice to know you are using the best gear out there. Also, if you ever wanna have the best melee outfit (offence wise), you are one item (helm) away from void melee. On top of that, getting the void will grant you a little bit of xp + money too.

If your using pc worlds expect at LEAST 15 hours to get the complete set. Believe me, I lost my void a couple of times and never got it back in less time... PC clans should be faster but never tried so idc how long it would take with a good clan. Probably a lot faster though :|

 

 

 

Void is in fact the best range armour if and only if you plan on using it after 99 range. If you think you won't then its not worth the time getting it.

 

 

 

At 99 range, void beats armadyl at almost every monster incl iron/black dragons...

With a good PC clan your looking at 2 to 2 30 minutes per game which works about 7 to 8 hours the higher being the more likely as you will lose the odd game and some will take the full 2 30 minutes.

 

 

 

PS if you really want to argue if the void/waterfiend point you could just simply say use void melee until they become non aggressive then use void range.

Void Range is most def worth it, it took me 8 hours and I had 50 points already when I started playing.

 

 

 

It is undoubtedly the best range gear out there. I use it everywhere (yes everywhere) Including Avis. It is just so worth it.

 

 

 

Maybe if I had the money to buy Armadyl I would think differently but I don't so I have no other opinion except from a Void standpoint, and I must say its fantastic.

I just completed the Melee set and i love it, its very efficient and you actually make money and xp from it, then get free armour (less opportunity cost but i cba to argue with people over that)... Im definitely going to get the Ranger helmet after.

 

 

 

In 850 points on a PC world, min boat, i lost twice.

I really love my void. it takes 8 hours to get which seems accurate from what i remember

It's epic when you have high def so you can get a good shield and tank

Void is not better than armadyl at high defence monsters at all. I have both and i take armadyl every time against black dragons, steel dragons and the like, because through a lot of kills worth of comparing on black dragons i find i kill faster more consistantly with armadyl.

 

 

 

The extra hitting power of void versus the accuracy loss on high defence monsters doesnt tend to be worth it unless you're using something like diamond(e) bolts to compensate for the accuracy drop. That said, void is awesome for low to medium defence monsters, and also for high defence monsters if you're willing to pay for diamond bolts. I would definitely recommend getting it :thumbup:
