Mods: I don't personally consider this a forum game, but if you feel it should be moved I understand.

 

So basically, build a primary and a sidearm. There was meant to be so much more to this thread as a game, but it just couldn't work without being either overly complicated like Hegemony, or overly simple like the Stratego clone it would have been. Should most likely be taking a trip to Forum Games soon.

Scroll down and hit Launch Application.

 

Put each weapon and it's description in hide tags named after the class they're to be used for. Just as an example:

The assault rifle has a long barrel, so it's accurate. It also has a digital sight, which also helps. It has a grenade launcher and a foregrip, and a stock that allows you to fire from the shoulder.[/hide]

 

I didn't post any names, but you can also name your guns. The name will be put directly above each weapon. It can be named something a gun could realisticly be called, like mk18 or something, or it could be Hex's Sooper Dooper Pole Knife. Names are completely up to you.

I think this is another idea that I'll possibly want to participate, but wouldn't be able to, due to lack of creativity.

I think you should start working out your combat system and basically the foundations for the game otherwise I see this as build a weapon and post.

I have an idea, but if we don't get an idea soon it's going to be too much like Stratego. And it wouldn't even involve the guns. And I'd be wearing a silly hat.

I used your program to throw together a gun really quickly, when I have more time I'll patch it up or make a completely new one that looks kickass, but for not this is my infantry weapon.

I really think both threads should go to games. When I made the first post it was intended for people to post their Utopias, not interact with other posters and go on being nerdy &c. Everything being posted in story-type threads is all internet vomit, so I avoid them.

How did you not expect Hegemony to turn into what it is today? You put a 'build your own empire' strategy game on a Runscape fan forum. did you expect order?

...That is what he is posting here for, for ideas. Did you bother to read his post? He wants to see if there is interest and whether or not we can effectively create a combat system.

As I would be a sniper, watching the battlefield through a scope, this is my weapon:

Note it is not a very huge caliber, due to the fact it's meant to be anti-infantry, while retaining a semi-automatic firing system.[/hide]

There's really no way we can do this as a game, I'm scrapping this and making it into a build n' post thread. Edited the main post.

Hand weapon. It is a three barreled submachine thing.

It comes with a "wooden style" handle and a machine pistol, it uses small calliber bullets however rapid fire gives it much more power. WARNING:Quite large kickback for one arm

If it were a game it would theoretically be in falador library however a good idea would be to make a map, a grid and then a little thing like.

Alright, went ahead and made 2 weapons from scratch.

 

My assault rifle is made for medium to close combat, and can also be used to infiltrate buildings if the folding stock is folded. The long barrel helps accuracy. The laser sight is used especially for indoors, while the red dot sight will be more useful outdoors. It contains plenty of bullets (around maybe 50) in the AK-styled magazine. Comes in desert colours, but is available in other colours too.

I really like the sidearm.

 

The pistol has a relatively large calabre, and has a sharp end for impaling people.

 

The rifle has a lot of stuff. Including fins of awesomeness.

Don't just say "alot of stuff", please specify! And it really is cool looking, it looks like one of the human weapons from Halo :thumbup:
