stonewall337
No user inputRight. So we should turn it into a popularity contest? There is a method to their madness, which isn't "madness" in the least. No, I am simply saying that we should be able to have some input if we want certain mods removed, or demoted. das
I'll take any complaints you have by PM. "Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable - a most sacred right - a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world."Abraham Lincoln
Wachtwoord
I used to be on the other side of the fence on another site, I would watch jealously as friend after friend of moderators would become moderators and if you didn't have like 10,000 posts you had no chance. I had 14,000 and had been a member for 4 years and they would never make me a moderator because it was all popularity, popularity, popularity. A lot of the mods were teenage girls, I'm just saying  I still feel like that on almost EVERY thing I do, Including here. :(Of course I have nothing to say in the mod picking process, but I can assure you it's definitely not like that for crew. If you look at the list of crew, there are quite a lot of people with hardly any post, or hardly had any when they joined. Also, all of the people who've recently become crew have had 0 friendships with the staff before joining. As mod picking process is led by the same people (admins) in the same organisation, I doubt it's much different for them. When everything's been said and done, more has been said than done. All skills 80+

Look at Racheya, she's not popular *flees*. I lol'ed. But yah I don't even know who the first two people are, there are many people on these boards that are more deserving in my opinion. People need to quit this, if you have real complaints with the moderating team then you can PM an admin, otherwise there's no need to say things because it's just mean. :( I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator].

I'd just like to add if it hasn't already been mention that not everyone wants to become a moderator. There are plenty of people around the community who'd make great moderators but who choose not to because they simply just don't want to. I can think of plenty of users who aren't members of the staff that I would consider leaders in our tip.it community. It doesn't take a badge to and a colored name to make you a leader despite what most of you might think. Again congrats to Racheya, KC, and Gandorf for your new promotions!
i_love_burritos
Oh you thread killers. Let the new global mods be congratulated and then let them drown in their pride. Sheesh. Soon enough more moderators will be nominated.
