In fact, I have led you all by the noses. I am actually a 40 year old, maybe a bit overweight guy.

...

I'm so sorry, it just NEEDED to be done.

Not that much different, in fact. I'm a bit more argumentative here, a bit surer of myself. In real life, I keep my thoughts mostly to myself, for my own amusement.

I bend some facts about myself online as to avoid drawn out explanations about stuff; that's about it

Haha, same here.

But, generally I'm quite different on the internet compared to "in the flesh". Generally not that extroverted and I tend not to talk too much.

I'm much cooler on the internet. Because that's where I keep all my friends. You see I don't have friends IRL. *cry*

I am of course, only joking. Ha ha, ha-ha. :uhh:

I think I'm slightly more respectable. Not because my opinions or manners are any different, but because nobody here has seen me fall or vomit in a drunken stupor.

La lune ne garde aucune rancune.

I'm less verbaly active IRL although I'm not the kind of person who seldom speaks a word, I swear more IRL(when I'm with my friends), I prefer correct grammar and and sentence building as well as using scientific and smart wording both here and IRL(I often have to "translate" what I say for my friends(and Hex here)) and here I discuss for longer at a time(my friends never even try and my parents only get mad).

Yes, I'm a different person on the internet. Why? I don't know. I'm not myself at all. Sometimes I read over some posts I made be it on these forums or the RuneScape Official forums. And I think to myself, "I really said that?". It doesn't seem like me at all, how the sentance is built, what it contains etc. I'm also rather timid in real life, and I feel personally that RuneScape has played a part in that. (Myself not being as social as I once was.) Oh, and I also sort of have anger problems in real life, due to an overwhelming amount of stress. For reasons that are beyond me. But I easily get frustrated, with anything. And don't have much of a sense of humour due to this.

I'm a nice guy, though. :-)

I don't think so, I mean, I guess I'm a little bolder, but that comes free with the anonymity the internet provides.

For some reason, it isn't even the anonymity that has me talk more. I can talk more even on facebook or through email or the like than face-to-face or over-the-phone.

I used to be more verbal, then when I realized the anonymity is really just an illusion I started toning it down a bit. Now I seem more boring than I really am. Well, the way I post sounds more like the way I talk, I just have more enthusiasm in real life and talk more.

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes it makes me feel proud or embarrassed, but either way there are times when it feels like I'm reading a different person's thoughts even though they were my own at one point.

No.

Rebuilding a face on the internet is useless unless you have a reason to start over.

But I don't want to go among mad people!

Oh, you can't help that. We're all mad here..."

Well I think around here I tend to read a lot of posts but end up saying anything, so I guess I'm probably a bit quiet. Although it's kind of liek RL, cos I don't really know many people around here I don't say much....

ima little different on the internet eryone thinks ima troll i kno i can be mean sometimes and i take short cut 2 typing but 4 tha most part im the same in real life

u can control my tip it account, but youll never control how fine i am!

Hmm.. I'm the same person on the internet and in real life, and I hold the same views. However, on the internet I find it easier to express those views - nobody really knows me here, and I find it easier to communicate what I really think through writing it down rather than saying it.

Also, I think this has been mentioned before, but on an internet forum such as this one, you're more likely to find a group of like minded people discussing something as opposed to real life, where I joke around more and rarely talk about things properly..

On the subject of being funny, I find it much easier in real life - a stupid expression or raising of an eyebrow can be enough to make people laugh.. Smilies aren't really as effective. ;-)
