To level 3 clues i think the best place is hell hounds.

For lvl 3 clues.. Definitely HELLHOUNDS! ive trained range from 60-80 on them and all the while been getting 1-2 clues an hour! sometimes i do a clue and go kill like 5 and w00t another clue!

For lvl 1 clues definatly Ham members, a clue every 15 minutes.

Hellhound guards and men are all great

I got 3 clues in 137 hellhounds today (Slayer).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sadly, the total rewards weren't even 200k >_>

i allways prefer jellies on hellhounds, cause high drop rate and cause u get rune helms there too.

My favourite place for clues is Dagganoths under the Lighthouse. Not sure wat lvl the clue is, pretty sure its 2 lol

Nearly every time i'd get 1 in less then 10 hellhounds (honest)

 

 

 

Sometimes up to 30, but got it after two on my last ever clue. (F2P now :() lol

lv1- men in edgeville.. though you get more money from thier rannar drops :P

Level 1 - Rock Crabs in Rekella.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Level 2 - Guards (Falador/Varrok)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Level 3 - Blue dragons, Hell hounds, or Jellies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All of those have a pretty good drop rate of scrolls (in my experience). Usually I can get a scroll within 30 kills at Blue Dragons.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Guards give pretty frequent drops although you may have to camp there a bit and there is also the problem of many other players competing with you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rock Crabs give you a pretty good chance to get a clue (from experience on my "noob".

Lvl 1's: Minotaurs

 

 

 

Lvl 2's: Pyrefiends

 

 

 

Lvl 3's:Jellies

I use hellhounds and i get a scroll every half load of food but im using summer pies for shortcuts and i havent gotten for 12 loads? im trying dusty key again for experiment

I got a lvl 3 lcue firts hellhound and got guth skirt and guth chaps of it

lvl 3: greater demons in cave under oger city from watchtower quest(bring tons of tele grabs for rune full helms and other stuff)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

lvl 2: daggonaths, kill with cannon

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

lvl 1: minators in the strong hold in barbarian villy, floor 1, kill lvl 27s

Taverly Blue Drags hands down give tons of lvl 3 clues, in about 1 hour of training total, i got 3 lvl 3 clues...

i would say for lvl 1 ham

 

 

 

lvl 2 would be guards

 

 

 

and lvl 3 would be dragons and greaters

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i killed a few greaters droped a lvl 3 it was a good reward

for lvl 3 to me has been the best green dragons total 14 clues and 11 from green dragons :)

I agree 100% I have major luck with Abberant Spectors, turoths, gargoyles, elves (warrior), blue drags, jellies and nechs...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I leave my assignment immediately for lvl 3's but rarely do a lvl 2 clue any more...

I get around 20 per 20 mins.. most often have 2-3 on the floor at the same time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I dont pickup level 2 clues but thats just me :P

I get my level 3s off cave horrors. If the drop rate is the same for any monster, you might as well choose one that has a 500k drop...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Although they are a little spread out, there are decent places in the cave where you can find enough horrors to serve your needs, and the place is almost always deserted.

i would say pick-pocketing hams for lvl 1's is good i got full wizzy (t) from this =p

for lvl 3's i prefer killin lvl 75 ankous they drop em every time i go there :thumbsup:

The are the best droppers around if you have the requierments. It gives you a goal to go to.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I can get a Lvl 3 clue not even after half a load of lobbies, easy as pie (the Number)

i have killed over 100 greater demons and didnt had any lvl 3 clue

 

 

 

went to hellhounds killed 200 of them didnt have any clue

 

 

 

went to green drags killed 40 didnt had any

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

how do you guys fix it
