they drop larges and i get clues fairly quick. usually on the first trip..rarely takes 2 trips. and they are easy to kill

I've got clue-luck at the Hell-hounds. My record is 7 clues in one day. :)

i got three clues within 17 dagganoth kills. so yah, people saying gaurds are dumb since i cut thru them like a hot knife through butter using my dds. and im only 83 melee combat.

Level 3 - Hell hounds, ankous, jellies

I manage to get quite a few lvl 3 clues from lvl 80 cave horrors. Last one gave me zammy helm, 2 rune pics, regular full helm and rune wc axe. The one before that gave me rune (h3) helm, rune legs (t), 4k gp and 45 laws

I think Jellies are best for lvl 3 clues. Once i got 3 clues during the same slayer task.

Best places for level 1 clues (in my opinion):

 

 

 

- Gobling hut (in lumbridge across the bridge).

 

- H.A.M. cave, just pickpocket/kill those people.

 

 

 

Best places for level 3 clues (in my opinion):

 

 

 

- If you are 60 slayer, you should defenitely try the abberant specters, they drop good herb/seeds, and a lot too, and also clues ;-)

 

- Hellhounds, in the Members dungeon

 

- Jellies, but this too has a slayer requirement, but this one's a bit lower, and I dont get as many clues as with abberants; 52 slayer

I never really liked clues 'til I could actually finish a Lvl 3... :uhh: But my fave for Lvl 3's is Blue Dragons. In fact, I've never gotten a Lvl 3 from anything else... :shock:

 

 

 

But I do get an occassional Lvl 2 from Guards sometimes.

 

 

 

Have NEVER had a Lvl 1... :?

lvl 1: men/women and goblin

 

lvl 2: cockatrices and guards

guards are pretty good for lvl 2 clues. I got a clue on my first kill today :) hmmmm :twisted:

whilst getting a clue you may get a nice 3m axe :

Cyclops in the Warriors guild are the best place for lvl 3 clues if your a low lvl. In about 600 tokens i got 3 clues. First one couldn't do because of requirements. 2nd was a rune axe and full helm, 3rd was blue d hide legs (g) rune axe rune b axe and 11 sweets :D

Well, reading all of your posts, I came up with this:

 

 

 

Level 1's: Killing level 3 men and pickpocketing H.A.M. members.

 

Level 2's: Killing guards

 

Level 3's: Killing dragons, greater demons, jellies, ankous, and hellhounds.

 

 

 

I specialize in level 3's. Here's my take on those monsters.

 

 

 

Dragons are mostly if you want a backup plan. You get the dragon hide and dragon bones, which can be a pretty good source of income itself.

 

 

 

Greater demons are decent, in my opinion. At times, I've killed 100's and only got like two or three rune full helms, and no clue.

 

 

 

I've never tried jellies, but I'm about to test them. There are some good comments on them.

 

-So far, they seem decent. I've eaten 4 lobs and got a clue.

 

-I finished that clue, and went back. I haven't eaten even 1 lob and already have a clue. Let's see if this luck continures.

 

 

 

Same with ankous. I've never tried clue hunting there, but I will soon.

 

 

 

Hellhounds are only if you are on assignment or just want clues and clues only. I often can be be found there, with my D Hally in hand. I sometimes get a clue within two or three kills, and sometimes more them 75. I usually get them about every 50 or so. The clues have very low rewards. Because of that, I'm going to test out other monsters.

This is were I get my clues

 

 

 

lvl1: When I go from lumbridge to draynor, I always take the 'Goblin Path' and I kill -+10 goblins. Almost every time I do that, I get a clue. Or I pickpocket ham members

 

 

 

lvl2: I get much Harpie Bug Swarm assignements. Every assignement I get a clue

 

 

 

lvl3: Hellhounds wont work for me >.> I kill greater demons, theyre doing great in dropping clues

lvl 2 jugle horror lvl 70 :!: i have gotonen 6 in the past 4 days :P

lvl 1 - men, undenieable- easy kills and get quickly every time

 

 

 

lvl 2 - idk dont do lvls 2's much

 

 

 

lvl 3 - eitehr hellhounds, cause all they drop and drop commonly or blue dragons-good drops and clues commonly

Level 1 - Thieving H.A.M. members

 

Level 2 - Don't do them that often, but I guess set up cannon at daggs.

 

Level 3 - Abyssal Demons, but since alot of people dont have 85 slayer, I also go with greaters.

Im at banshees now and my first kill in ages i got a lvl 1 clue!!
