I thought of making this topic today, taking inspiration from --

Well, today, I brought home Jumanji. As a kid I use to watch it all the time. About 15 years on from originally watching it, I still laughed like mad. Enjoyed all of it.

So, tell me, what were your favourite movies when you were growing up ?

This thread doesn't have to be just movies, it can be TV serials or memorable scenes from TV series or movies. Whatever ...

Airplane, Blazing Saddles (even though I didn't get half the jokes), Die Hard, Slapshot, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and a bunch of John Wayne movies I used to watch with my Grandpa. They're innumerable.

Aladdin, Jurassic Park, Home Alone, Scrooged, Austin Powers, Oliver & Company, Space Jam, Ghost Busters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Honey We Shrunk Ourselves, The Breakfast Club, Beavis and Butt-head Do America, Gremlins, The Goonies, Stand By Me, A Christmas Story

Most of them are movies I wouldn't think twice about watching now.

Bobbie's World,

That seriously looked like "Boobie's World" when I first looked at it.

Anyways, I still remember when I was addicted to Bugs Bunny.... seriously, I couldn't stop myself.

Oh, and any other cartoon on Cartoon Network.

The Little Mermaid

Ninja Turtles (the first one)

Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

I think I wore out our VHS of The Little Mermaid when I was 6. Either that or my mother threw it out because she was sick of me watching it so much. All I know is that one day it disappeared.

Oh man. Two of the best cartoon intros ever. I loved these shows.

Oh man I remember Bucky O Hare. I used to watch it on old VCR tapes. I loved it when I was little.

Also I remember watching this.
