assassin_696
Are there any brands that you feel a particular affection or loyalty towards? I'm interested in which ones and why. It might be the product/service they offer, or the customer service they provide. To get the ball rolling, i feel that Apple, and Google are the two brands/companies that i feel are in a way, the most up and coming at the moment. Both are technological, both are pretty cool and both offer very good services and product. I ALWAYS use Google for searching, the maps, or translating the odd word. If i can't find something by searching Google, i often give up. As for Apple, recently i gave into the hype and bought an iPod. I was extremely impressed with the payment process offered by Apple, and i found the whole packaging and presentation and design is unparalelled by any other company at the moment. Any ideas? Vape
Definite affection and loyalty to google, although I'm watching my back that they don't turn evil when they get bigger. They provide great services, for free, and have excellent policies. They also make sleek web pages and have a sense of humour. Tip.it for all my Runescape needs of course :D That's probably mainly because I found tip.it first, but latterly because of the people I've met on the forums. Mozilla. Open source. Phpbb. Open source. Dunno, that's the ones I could think of on the spot. Where the bloody hell are you?

Hulk12
Well when it comes to comp sites I have a few in my favourites: http://svc.com (mods) http://newegg.com (parts) http://tigerdirect.com (parts) http://frozencpu.com (mods) Actual brand parts: Intel and AMD of course (I've never realy picked. For my gaming comp I have a Duron OC'ed to 2.2ghz and for my straight power comp I have a P4 OC'ed to 2.6ghz.) And really I don't think much about brand names. I get my cloths based on how they look and most my shirts don't have a "brand". They do sport band names.

____
Disregarding internet stuff (phpBB, Opera, Google, msn and IRC) I have no real loyalty to any store except where I work :P I'll go to whatever store has whatever I want for the lowest price possible :D And I'm glad to say the K-Mart and the such 'cheap' stores don't make that list much anymore since my needs are fairly specialised :)
