squidsquash
How are you liking the new 1000+ total level worlds? Personally, I am a 50/50 split on this one. I find that there are less people wandering around asking how to do things, begging for money etc. BUT, on the F2P 1000+ world, I notice a lot of people logging in just to show off, and when these people meet, they tend to argue a lot and make everyone around them annoyed :/ So, JaGeX's question comes up; Is there a need/demand for more worlds like this? chaossviper
I love the idea of 1000+ total level worlds. I feel that this will evenly spread out "noobs" and "seniors" in the game, and thus will make the tension between them lessen. I also feel that this can help the game in that wherever you go, there is most likely someone of equal seniority to you, so if you have a question you will have a much more mature, or wise answer, instead of a bunch of low-levellers butting in and giving you incorrect information. Your one point about showing off is valid, however i do not think there is much to show off that you can get into a certain world, because the people you are showing off to don't care - they are in that world as well. quelmotz
I haven't logged in to these 1000+ skill level worlds yet (total level only 735 :-( ). I think they'll help so the so-called veteran players won't be irritated by the newbies, but I didn't really find that it inspired me to train to 1000 total levels. I usually don't have much problems with noobs anyway. Click here for an awesome suggestion to revive smithing!
AgingMiser
Total level is a bad requirement; it should be total experience, much like it is for the forums. After all, a p2per with all skills in the low 40s can log into a 1000+ world, whereas a maxed f2p skiller can't.
Youmu
My views are also 50/50. Why? Because the F2P skill total world actually allows P2Pers. This does not make sense. It should be F2P only. However, this separates the high-levels from all those noobs and autotypers. Try chatting normally in the GE in world 1 for a minute. IMO, make the F2P skill total world F2Pers only, and the P2P skill total world should be raised to 2000. armourdilo
I haven't used them yet myself, they seem like an alright Idea, but they're just not full enough for the kind of mining I like to do. I might use them on ftp, just so there's less... disturbances, but on ptp, I'll be sticking with good ol' 99. I wouldn't mind seeing a 2000+ world either. Just for the coolness of it's presence factor. It's what I do
Capone_Sabre
I haven't even bothered to login to them because the 1000 total level requirement for P2P is so ridiculously low. If it was raised much, much higher (i.e. to at least 2000) then I would use them. Capone Sabre since April 2001.99 Attack, Defence, Strength and Hitpoints Achieved January 2005. When it still meant something.
slickmovedud
They should allow make f2p worlds so that only f2p levels count. So all those member stats wouldn't count towards the f2p worlds. This would get rid of most of the members. Or have it so if you weren't p2p for the last year you can log onto the f2p only worlds. And for members it should be raised to 2,000 total. Kwaichi
I like this idea, this new worlds arent so crowded and skilled players can more enjoy playing RS without beeing annoyed by "noobs".
Danny_TeamDan
I like the idea but haven't checked them out really yet. I assume it's more people skilled/knowledgable and less crowded in certain places. I can see people arguing though, but after all this is the internets fights are bound to happen when you can hide behind a screen ;]

Maybe add a p2p 2000+ world would work, but really? all of a sudden you are limiting that world to the top 20k players. Thats no where close to percentage of f2p people who can get into the 1000+ world.

junkiejeff
I think a 1000+ world for F2P is cool, for P2P it's useless because it's pretty easy to get that skill total. Also, I think the F2P world should be 1000+ for members only skills and the P2P world should be at least 1500. SeanCalibur
I think this is a brilliant update  The only problem is that the community is a bit...well...quiet. But when it comes to being in a world full of noobs asking for "fr33 stuf pl0x" and a world full of mostly mature people just getting on with their runescape lives, i would pick the 1000+ world. Championfurydelta123
I feel that its a little low as it is very easy to get the skill total of 1000. I beleive that it should be higher along the lines of about 1500+. Guest jrhairychest
I personally don't agree with them. I don't see how its a crime to be asked for help by other players. I see the word 'noobs' being used more than once, but the fact is we were all 'noobs' at some point, and always will unless you're ranked number 1 because you'll always be a 'noob' to someone else. Players are always quite happy to show off to the lower levels when it suits them so take the rough with the smooth. We should all be able to access the same worlds and to educate other players if they need it, even if it's to stop them from begging or having some sort of attitude problem (which more often tends to come from higher level players). Lower levels also need things to aspire to, and thats by looking at higher level players. I'd say some players need to adjust their overly inflated opinions of themselves and be a little more patient and realistic.

There's like 150 more worlds to look into. Also, not everyone hates noobs. I answer questions from other people most of the time. I plan to go on the skill total world, not because of noobs (though I really hate ones that ask for money). It gives me an incentive to get my skills up, and I want to meet some high level 100% F2Pers. :D If you go by your logic then there shouldn't be a world that separates veterans from newcomers in RSC. Youmu
It's a crime because they're wasting our time. Not really. I'm able to chat to others and answer questions while skilling at the same time, and I almost never get distracted, no matter what the skill (yes, even Mining). Though, begging for money really should be considered a crime. Those damn Latchopter clones should learn to earn it themselves instead of asking for our hard-earned gold.
