LegendaryStu
So, i've been looking around the forums recently and have noticed that many people have changed in the course of their clan career. This has got me thinking and i have a couple of questions for anybody who wishes to take part. You can answer as few or as many questions as you wish. - How long have you been clanning for? - Since joining clans, how do you feel you have changed? eg: maturity, humour, knowledge etc - Who or what clan, if any would you say caused these changes? - Has any of these changes carried over into real life, if so, how? - If you could start over clanning again, what would you do differently? - Do you have any goal or ambition to do with clanning, if so, what? - Do you have any regrets? - How long have you been clanning for? Since 2003/2004 - Since joining clans, how do you feel you have changed? eg: maturity, humour, knowledge etc I have most certainly become more mature, but also that for things to work it takes time. I would like to think that i have become a lot more knowledgeable and maybe even imparted some on others :P - Who or what clan, if any would you say caused these changes? I don't think i could really place anything on a certain person or clan, I believe the clans in which i changed the most in however were Faithless, Ronin and PROtential. - Has any of these changes carried over into real life, if so, how? Hmm, they have and they haven't. I would say being ranked in a clan can definitely help prepare you for some responsibilities you have irl, and that there is no way in hell you can be homophobic :P - If you could start over clanning again, what would you do differently? I would've joined DS rather than fight against them. - Do you have any goal or ambition to do with clanning, if so, what? I did, however not so much anymore. I believe that it would be extremely enjoyable however to start a clan with some good mates, and bring it up high. Not necessarily #1, but enough to be recongised. - Do you have any regrets? Quitting Ronin (as good as my reasons were) and maybe getting a little too into runescape during my earlier teenage years. newfydude13
EDIT: Waiting for one from you, Stu. - How long have you been clanning for? Nearly 2 years. - Since joining clans, how do you feel you have changed? eg: maturity, humour, knowledge etc I think i've learned to just enjoy things and not get caught up in the intensity of things sometimes, as it can be stressful. - Who or what clan, if any would you say caused these changes? I think the person who has had the biggest impact on me is Jc 067, being with him in different clans/teams. - Has any of these changes carried over into real life, if so, how? I think so, i've changed quite a lot irl since i started clanning. - If you could start over clanning again, what would you do differently? Nothing. - Do you have any goal or ambition to do with clanning, if so, what? Yeah, i think its important for us all to have goals, otherwise it could get quite boring. My goals are secret though! (e.g. World Domination  ) - Do you have any regrets? I would say joining DK awhile back was a regret, but tbh i think i really learned things there, so no, i have no regrets. Though TPR changed me a bit. - Has any of these changes carried over into real life, if so, how?Yeah, I didn't do much for school so that did have a lot of effect. But it wasn't that dramatic, I didn't had to do a year over again. - If you could start over clanning again, what would you do differently?Nothing really, the clans I've been in are just as active as I could be. - Do you have any goal or ambition to do with clanning, if so, what?I want to get 126 combat one day, and want to stay for a long time in this clan world. - Do you have any regrets?Having to close Faith. Billy Key
- How long have you been clanning for? I have only been clanning since July 2006 so 3 and a half years. - Since joining clans, how do you feel you have changed? eg: maturity, humour, knowledge etc Well, I have been through a lot of ranks in BK and all of them have had their challenges and in dealing with the challenges I have gained some knowledge. my humour and maturity are probably similar to what they were although in some ways I guess I have become more aware of some things so maybe that would go under maturity. - Who or what clan, if any would you say caused these changes? I have only ever been in the Blacknights Clan so i guess it would have to be them. - Has any of these changes carried over into real life, if so, how? Leadership maybe although I can't put that solely down to BK, I have led things IRL too but I reckon BK has helped in some ways. Maybe with my patience with people too (need a lot of patience in BK :wall: ) - If you could start over clanning again, what would you do differently? If I had another go round then I would want to use my time as BK Cadet leader better. It was my first attempt at leading any sort of clan and I was thrown in at the deep end a bit, with staff who weren't contributing as much as they might (and some staff who were incredible) there was some inactivity while I was leader and I would like to change that I guess. - Do you have any goal or ambition to do with clanning, if so, what? My goal is to help my clan to get better as a clan in every way, that doesn't mean become a powerhouse or anything because I dislike a lot of what being a powerhouse is, but becoming more organised in wars and getting what we need to sort out sorted out and then in the community just making as nice for people as possible, they would have to be my goals in clanning. - Do you have any regrets? Not being in BK from the beginning I guess is a regret, actually knowing how everything happened in BK's history would be cool, there's a lot of assumptions and guesses in my version of the clan history Do you want to love me? The Observer
- How long have you been clanning for? 3-4 years I'd say. - Since joining clans, how do you feel you have changed? eg: maturity, humour, knowledge etc I've changed in my knowledge of the clan world by moving from PKM, a relatively small clan, to SE which is a relatively large clan. - Who or what clan, if any would you say caused these changes? Shadow Elves was a big push for my knowledge in the clan world. Also gave me some tanking experience. :3 - Has any of these changes carried over into real life, if so, how? Not really, except I have learned to listen a lot better. Teamspeak has helped with that. - If you could start over clanning again, what would you do differently? Beckingham
- How long have you been clanning for?- Since joining clans, how do you feel you have changed? eg: maturity, humour, knowledge etc little over a year now I guess, definitely learned a ton about people in general. It's been amazing to me how stupid and juvenile some people can be, and at the same time how awesome others are. I've definitely learned the value of patience, and the value of staying away from drama as much as possible. - Who or what clan, if any would you say caused these changes? Legendz, especially at the end and the beginning of T0 - Has any of these changes carried over into real life, if so, how? Yeah, although I'd say they developed irl and in game - If you could start over clanning again, what would you do differently? Nothing, I got really lucky at the start by joining the clan that was right for me - Do you have any goal or ambition to do with clanning, if so, what? I've been lucky enough to be an official in a couple clans, and thats good enough for me. I'd never want to try leading. - Do you have any regrets? It's not really a regret, because I like smaller clans a lot better than bigger ones, but I would like to join a top 10 clan at some point, just to see what it's like.
