I wish we could adopt steampunk growth rates then. :)

My concern is the invincibility without equal attacking of all players.

The only difference between a disagreement between friends, an argument between strangers, and a feud between enemies is the ability to reconcile.

Okay, so 10% of the population working on research and/or military stuffs.

That means I get 78 million man-hours per year. Sounds good to me.

Yeah, I'll go with a 2% growth rate as well.

I'll go with a 5% growth rate, owing to anatomy. Oh Archi, don't you get to play as the countries that haven't been chosen? I think that's better than having invincible pirates in the game. There's the Ottoman empire and that confederation of island thingies.

I just really disagree with the invincible pirates. We already have enough pirates in Ross. :)

You said that any attack by the pirates always succeed. That's pretty much invincible.

Yep, you said that any attack it does will succeed, so it doesn't fade into obscurity.

If you want to invade a country then just tell me because people might want to join between now and then and me setting their specs isn't really fair.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I'm not making it a secret. I am invading the island part of the confederacy thingy.

Merry Christmas *takes off beard* Anyways I am going for the 2% growth rate and I think I will put 10% of my population (yes I am copying ross in the basics but I can probably put alot more if the need arises) into research so that should give me 234 million man hours per year...

I believe it has some of Thailand. Anyways, what is the basic of the Ottoman Empire? Is it stretched and easily persuaded? Is it isolationist? Does it have many enemies?

The Ottoman Empire is basically what the British Empire was in our timeline.

Also its Islamic. For the most part peaceful, except for India, which it wants to conquer for the trade power.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Interesting, is it stretched militarily?

Retech I doubt it though you can infer it from the page on the actual thread.

It can respond to threats fairly easily and can raise a reasonable conscript army in an emergency... Like the British Empire pre-1900....

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Uh huh... conscript army.

Yeah...Raise an army from Australia, Spain, Hungery. Like Britain did from India, Canada and Australia.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Interesting...What are their specialties? Like air, sea, land?
