December 20, 200916 yr My clan used TS2 back in 2007 but switched to Ventrilo because the sound quality was far superior. However, TS3 was released yesterday and since our forums/IRC/TS are paid in one instalment, we will save $30 per month by using TS3 instead of Ventrilo. December 20, 200916 yr TS was always easier to use in my eyes, so I preferred that. However with TS3 apparently having an identical sound quality, why not choose that?

December 21, 200916 yr TS3 is better than Vent in my opinion. Though if you want free and comparable try out Mumble. It's free open software and is as good as or better than TS3 or Vent. With love to one, friendship to many, and good will to all.

I've heard its comparable to mumble, but that was just through the grapevine.
