Twelve Titan Labours

Also to the person who said "defeat jad w/flowers" you cant hit with them. Their negative bonuses make it impossible to hit on anything even as low leveled as a rat even with all prayers on and potted with maxed stats. Sorry but that is truely impossible.

You guys aren't thinking hard enough.

Also, there should be two categories: Mostly luck, and Mostly Skill/Planning/Thinking.

Example of "Mostly Luck":

Get a complete set of Blessed D'Hide from your own clues; you can't buy any of the pieces (I've done this :D Thank you training slayer (Full Zam)).

Get a complete set of Barrows Armor

Example of "Mostly Skill/Planning/Thinking":

Start with nothing (Bank all items)

You can't access any pre-obtained things (like harvesting anything from your patches, no POH stored armor, no Achievement Diary Items, etc).

Obtain things for Challenges (Fletch Broad Bolts (you can buy from stores, but you have to obtain money first), craft D'Hide armor, make potions, etc). You can use the assist system, but you HAVE to obtain the items yourself.

With these parameters, you can complete some challenges:

Obtain a Fire Cape

Complete a Barrows run/Get a Barrows item

Kill a Tormented Demon

Solo a GWD Boss

When you go feather dragon god, you never go back.

Here`s one:

Get every item that can be placed in skill hall:

-Every castle wars armour

-mithril, adamant and rune armour (You can only placed your own maked ones)

-Every slayer monster trophy

-Big tuna, swordfish and shark.

Also, as someone said, fill your costume room.

Maybe fill menagerie too.

Quests just keep bringing me back to this game.

The first two on the OP's list are great but then the others are just tedious. For example, anybody can figure out a RS minigame after playing for less than 30 minutes... they don't need to earn every reward from them in order to master them, that's just a silly waste of time.

Truly mastering minigames (knowing and being able to use all tactics, etc.) such as castle wars, barbarian assault, fist of guthix and duel tournaments definitely can't be done in 30 minutes. PC, etc. is different of course.

Yes but similarly, you don't need to collect every reward from those minigames to master them... you'll usually master them loooooong before that

Don't know if it has been said yet, but exploring everywhere in Runescape would be interesting. And I mean everywhere. Good luck with any tasks you choose.

How?

I've been everywhere in runescape atleast twice.

Heck I go to like 70% of palces in rs atleast once a month

The only places I havn't been are living rock caves, the tree spot reachable only by mobilizing armies reward, and the sara boss room in the gwd. If I can do it, surely others cane. Oh and the area made for the new tutorial?

EDIT: Wow nvm, see post above mine I'm stupid.

How about, plant flowers over an entire city/town?

Drawing a hand-made map of Runescape w/o using anything outside the client is rather difficult, depending on the detail you choose to add.

It was a bug that has since been removed.

Defeat the Chaos Elemental, the Tormented Wraith and the King Black Dragon in the same trip.

Why? All three are in the wilderness and far from each other. There's a risk of getting attacked by revs. They all need different types of preparation.

Allowed:

Familiars

Anything combat related (Weapons, armor, prayer, potions, whatever)

A teleport

Not Allowed:

Friends (Like if you had some :D)

Seems to me that if you've gotten to the point where you have to invent ludicrous things to do just to say that you did them, perhaps it's time to find something else to do entirely.

I believe that was the entire point of the thread.

I think he's talking about WoW.

Actually, what I really had in mind was "get a life", but even a different game would be a better option than mindlessly doing really stupid and boring things in RS once you're bored with it. :)

Good idea - I think I'll go design an RS help-site instead :P

Qeltars help sites have always been some of the best with the most useful, sometimes overlooked info in them.

T is for Titan and not for Tedious and Tiring  Might also be Terrifying :ohnoes:

Obtain a Fire Cape (complete Fight Caves) 4 consecutive times without banking, or complete this mini-game 8 times in a row without failing (Watch out for the falling rocks! C-c-c-c-c-comber breaker!)

Solo the Corporeal Beast.

Solo General Graardor... using only magic attacks.

Solo Commander Zilyana while tanking either her melee attacks or her magic attacks.

Spy all ten penguins and the Polar Bear Agent... in a PvP world, without dying, teleporting, logging out (for extended periods of times), outside help, or wearing any body or leg armor.

Capture a Dragon Impling... outside Puro Puro, in a PvP world, without any scouts, dying, equipped items (other than a Net), or teleporting.

Kill the Giant Mole within 15 seconds.

I might think of some later.

When you go feather dragon god, you never go back.

If acts like that make someone truly enjoy a game, I don't see anything wrong with it. Everyone can enjoy this game the way which suits them best.

When everything's been said and done, more has been said than done.

All skills 80+

Hey, if someone actually enjoys doing something weird, that's their business.

But defining something as a "titanic labor" somewhat contradicts the idea of it being "fun".

What exactly is fun about killing 2.7 million imps hoping one of them drops a scroll? Or grinding a skill to 200 million XP?

Life's too short, IMO -- even for a gamer.

These are supposed to be different, though -- they're not about grinding enough that you manage to do something, they're more about using your skill (not necessarily skills) to do something difficult that's more than just a point, click and wait affair.

If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.
