November 3, 200520 yr Well, i bought this game last night, but i dont know if it's the best Tony Hawk game ever. But i must admit its pretty fun. What i dont like about this game is how when you pick one of those 4 skaters at the very beggining, you cant change what way he rides. The guy i picked skates regular, but i skate goofy. So, has anybody else played or bought this game and what do the think of it?
November 3, 200520 yr Having got all the other 'Tony Hawk's' games, this is definitely on my 'to buy' list within the next week or so.
November 3, 200520 yr Having all of the THUG games this is on my to buy list for next week or so :D I have 100% completion in THUG1 and I'm only missing a few stat points on classic in THUG2 :(:( I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.

November 3, 200520 yr I've owned every THPS game apart from THUG2, because the concept of that game seemed stupid to me. I haven't seen much of the new one but i might check it out at some point. Kirk and Lars I could handle. At the same time.
November 3, 200520 yr Well having all the pervious I might aswell buy this one, First game without a loading game is what they are saying. It is my destiny to prove that wrong

November 3, 200520 yr I've played this one, and i really dont like it...its really slow and clunky, not at all fast paced. The story is stupid and the challenges are worse. Ill just stick with my uber customized version of THUG 2 on psp.
November 3, 200520 yr My friend bought it on the GC maybe I'll borrow it though. He says it's a very cool game and what I hear looks really funny :D Still like THPS 4 the most :D So addicting...some hard missions(completed them all :D :D ),and than the multiplayer 8)
November 3, 200520 yr They say that it only loads once in the beginning and then there is no more loading after that. That's pretty cool since everybody hates the "Loading" screen and don't feel like waiting. I agree with you daniel, I like THPS 4 the most too.
November 3, 200520 yr Baaah I loved THPS 3. Completed it about 13 - 15 times I think cause I had a broken arm at the time and didnt have anything to do. And no lol why do you always want to get stuff from John Lewis. Its over ̣̉300 more then than what i paid. John Lewis is a great, great shop.

November 3, 200520 yr The TH series has been going downhill after THPS3, THUG was OK but the sequel was ridiculous.
November 3, 200520 yr IF I didn't have a broken PS2 I would of bought it when it was released. Love the TH series, but.. the most of all, this one has the best soundtrack, Senses Fail, Thursday, Fall Out Boy(Etc) Awesome bands(Minus MCR they suck) doing amazing songs, I need a new PS2 -Shakes fist-

Loading screen gives me a chance to stretch a bit :D The TH series has been going downhill after THPS3, THUG was OK but the sequel was ridiculous. Sure the story wasn't good, but the gameplay (eg going for all the gaps, and some of the story prompted goals) was good, especially with the inclusion of classic and story I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.
November 3, 200520 yr The TH series has been going downhill after THPS3, THUG was OK but the sequel was ridiculous. Agreed, although THPS4 was alright. IF I didn't have a broken PS2 I would of bought it when it was released. Love the TH series, but.. the most of all, this one has the best soundtrack, Senses Fail, Thursday, Fall Out Boy(Etc) Awesome bands(Minus MCR they suck) doing amazing songs, I need a new PS2 -Shakes fist- Nah, this is their worst soundtrack ever.

Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.
November 3, 200520 yr If I still had my PS2 I probably would of bought it. One of my friends has it already, so I may try it over his house. I think the best games in that series were either THPS 1, 4 or THUG1. 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting
November 4, 200520 yr Hmm, i might try and buy this one..i skate goofy to, and i guess it doesnt really matter. The guy with the Reel Big Fish Sig can talk  don't get me wrong, RBF are good, but FOB and Thursday are better ;).
November 4, 200520 yr Compared to the older games, I don't like this one as much. The story is nonexistant. You just go through the levels getting parts for this skate park. I loved THUG1 because of the storyline. This one has a really thin one. The voice acting is pretty bad. I can't stand the scratchy-perky voice of the main girl. I thought I've heard her voice on a lot of older cartoons as little girls. Anyways, the levels seem dull and bland to me. They're all really similar. The THUG games I liked because as you progress through the game, you cause huge changes to the levels. This one only has minor changes. In older games you could select what mission you want to do quickly from a menu, but now you have to go and search them out. Not really complaining about that one - just saying I prefer the quickness of going through missions through a menu. So yeah, in short, I expected better.
