Yeah that was/is not an outburst... typing in all caps and utilizing the censor liberally while doing personal attacks is the only thing that really qualifies as an outburst here (at least that is what I think)

I charge a geomancy spell and use it to summon spikes starting away from jen and expanding outwards in a circle. I then have the spikes absorb anything that the touch and then super compact (I am with the oliphaunts and Jen's sisters)

A tear forms in my left eye, my calm reserve temporarily shattered as it rolls down my cheek. I glare numbly at the "remains", horrified. Turning to the elder and ignoring his statement, I manage a trembling voice at most, "What just happened?"

I just vaporized the dying girl and the elder stated i was different. my reply is above.

-Grim

You manage to spear a few of the enemy soldiers, before Jen shouts at you. Her sisters seem to have gone.

"An undead army led by the 'friendly Lich' is marching towards Ikana as well speak. It's much more powerful and closer than this one, so my sisters have gone to stop them. We should be heading there as well, but we have to disrupt this army and slow its advance. Any ideas?"

-Hakon

"Yes, of course. We would like you to find out the source of this evil magic, and destroy it. On the way, please kill the Liches on the riverbank, who have driven us away from our homes."

-Tairn

"Our bodies are not equipped to handle any sort of healing. Only very minor wounds heal, and our magical strength does not replenish. I am only at the tender age of twenty six, yet I look frail like an old man. There was nothing you could do."

Yes... Grim attempts to sacrifice a level of geomancy and two charges of geomancy in a ritual to summon a massive pit under the army while he has the hawk pick them up.

Blind outrage towards the harsh way of life, I attempt to resurrect the child. Foul swearing streams from my lips in a harsh whisper.

Jen quickly freezes time for a moment, and stops your spell casting.

"Sacrificing experience is only necessary and beneficial for huge spells. A resurrection, massive spirit summoning, creating a pocket in time. You could do just as well without it."

Despite that, you succeed in cracking the ground beneath the army, which begins to stumble. The hawk carries you and Jen away.

-Tairn

The spirit of the newly exploded child shrieks at you in pain, before you begin to flow energy from your fingertips to essentially regenerate her body. Suddenly, her fingers begin to twitch.

-Mather

The elder points to the mountain. You begin flying off to find the Lichtens, when you discover they are on a different plane entirely.

I look at the elder, questioning him with my eyes. I turn to watch Hakon go off to find the liches and weigh my options; follow Hakon or attempt to find a way to resurrect the child...

A few Oliphants begin to stumble, crushing a few more soldiers. The entire army seems to be in disarray. As you fly towards the Lich, Jen jumps off the hawk and masterfully glides to the ground. You enter a thick fog of dark, probaly caused by the Lich.

-Tairn

The elder seems extremely surprised that the child seems to have her body back, and mutters quietly under her breathe, "You aren't like the others...are you..."

-Hakon

Oh, I get it. You meant Liches, not Lichtens. (You said Lichtes, so I got sorta confused)

----

You arrive on the edge of a very large field of corn. The ears of corn seem taller than you are, and you can see a plantation house in the distance.

I smile at the child, caressing her hair in the 'everything is ok' manner. Turning to the elder I twitch my ear. "What do you mean by that?" My eyebrow curves up in a questioning expression.

You enter the house discreetly through the back porch, thankfully not encountering anything. You end up in the dining room, with the table all set up.

-Grim

The fog is thick all the way to the ground, though you manage to steer your way through and not crash into the ground. The fog seems darker now.

-Nick

Your knights charge into the thick fog, disappearing from your sight. Suddenly, you feel a powerful blow on your chest, thankfully averted by your armor.

-Tairn

The child blasts you back with a powerful burst of darkness, before righting herself and gathering energy to her fingertips. Her body has seemingly begun to turn into darkness itself, while the rest of the villagers are running back into their shacks.

Grim attempts to locate the position of the lich with the white elm staff with geomancy (tracking by the dregs of the illusion cast upon it as well) while charging two fire spells.

Momentarily shocked, I recover my focus. Holding two fingers to my lips I attempt to bind the child's powers with a curse.
