I leap forwards, shielding Iey from the blasts and lending power to her for the spell.

Håkon puts on his mk armour and prepares his gun before searching around.

You locate the position of the lich, who happens to be outside the fog. You charge a single fire spell, but you accidentally release the second.

 

-Tairn

 

Your spell proves effective, but in the wrong way. The child suffers more pain, and seems to grow more powerful. She flares up in anger, before sending a bolt of unknown dark magic at you, though it is blocked by Nex.

 

-Nex

 

You jump and block a bolt of dark magic. Your skin begins to feel very itchy.

 

-Hakon

 

You don your mk armor, before you notice the Lich walking down the stairs and into the room. It's apparant he has just woken up, mainly because he's in his PJs.

[Grim_]

Grim charges another two fire spells and has the hawk gain in altitude (this is going to end in a huuuuge boom)

I ponder over Jen's staff for a mere moment, then wave a hand over Nex to cure the ailment. Picking up the staff, I try to harvest all the staff's current charges into a whisp-like ball of lifeforce in my palm.

[Nexaduro]

I encase the child in stone, with a few small breathing holes.

I put my gun to the lich's head while having my special sword at the ready. "Look, I do not want to kill you, but you are currently in some villager's property. Now surrender and make no sudden moves, the villagers shall have this farm back and you, depending on your choise, will meet either death, peaceful freedom or an adventure together with me."

Håkon's golem waits outside for any sign of combat.

[Retech]

You emerge outside of the fog, seeing the Lich wielding the staff in the distance. He seems to be powering the fog...and controlling something. You charge a second fire spell.

 

-Tairn

 

You manage to extract a very large chunk of lifeforce energy, which dances around in your palm.

-Nex

 

The child slips through the very small holes and reforms itself on the outside. She fires another black magic bolt, which hits you square on the chest. Your heart starts to beat erratically.

 

-Hakon

 

The Lich raises his hands up high, indicating he has surrendered.

 

"Would you like some eggs and tea for breakfast?" he asks.

[Ieyfura]

Holding the dancing lifeforce in my hand, I pull it up, bending my wrist forward towards the girl, I focus my own powers into the ball of lifeforce and send a concentrated cleansing beam piercing right into the girl's soul in the hopes of vanquishing the evil inside her.

[Grim_]

Grim charges a third and fourth fire spell while circling higher and higher up. (How many charges would I need for planar magic if I allocated almost all of my life force for it)

Håkon laughs a little at the lich's comment. And lowers the gun "You're at least humble, eh? This farm bellongs to someone else so you can't stay, at least not without their permission, but do you maybe want to join me in ridding this place of it's evils? I'm sure someone like you would like some action, and there's plenty of things we. could teach eachother. Oh, right, eat your breakfast first if you want, I'm not hungry though you'd probably need it before leaving, or joining me if you choose to. Breakfast is the most important meal you know."

[Nexaduro]

I stabilize my heart, and face off against the girl. I try to anticipate her attacks, and block them with stone barriers which I withdraw afterwards. I make sure not to raise a barrier that would block Iey's magic.

[Retech]

(Sorry for the short one. Gotta go)

The girl explodes, and you soon realize that sometimes someone can't be resurrected, no matter how skilled you are.

You manage to charge two more fire spells.

 

(Basically there is a roll you need to get, and each fire charge gives you plus one on the roll. Of course, the more energy you store, the higher chance you can blow up when you add more. Then you need a powerful energy source, like a life sphere, many smaller life crystals, or a magical item pertaining to the thing you want to connect to)

 

-Hakon

 

The Lich finishes boiling his water for his tea, before beginning to make eggs. As you grow complacent, the Lich manages to pour the boiling water all over you, and smash you over the head with a frying pan. Before you know it, he escapes into the corn field.

 

-Nex

 

Your flesh near the impact wound begins breaking down and falling off.

[Earth]

*Sigh* Well, at least your mistakes are understandable Iey. I might be in a bit of trouble now, but I probably won't die. This isn't nearly as bad as Earthsage's or Poseidon's mistakes, not even as bad as Rocco, Mather, or ICU! Yup, you're more on Grim and my level of mistake making, which is somehow fairly low. Or at least, we get lucky at recovering from the mistakes.

Something tells me you might get into occasional conflict with Rocco...

Oh yeah, by the way, Ley, you mentioned something about playing D&D with us when you get a computer.

 

Perchance you would know when you are getting said computer?

Beyond just killing people... He is one of the biggest threats in the game. You could say that he's technically a minmaxer, because he takes what he wants and kills everything in his way, but somehow maxing his power doesn't seem to be his goal.

Few months till said computer yet I would imagine, unless i can fix my bike up sooner. Then 1-2 months max.

 

 

Well, I would rather not fight rocco, but yeah, I'm not going to sit back and turn the other cheek either O_o
