I'd say there's still a little hope left since the highscores are still intact, however how long they will remain like this is uncertain..

Yeah, I think only Red Dragon got reset. My account in Royal Gardens(which is actually better) is still up and running.

This is a huge gaming company who seem to lack any Quality Assurance teams or the ability to back up users' data files. The bugs have been so basic and yet they still required a reset. I could live with server downtime, but constantly re-making my account makes it pointless.

 

How the hell are we supposed to help beta test when we cant even reach the main stages of the game? Remember, we havent even engaged battle with eachother yet, which is the main objective of the game.

I don't think you move servers. I think you create another account on another server.

We don't really know who made the game though, Jagex are only publishing it for a third party remember.

 

And it's better that the game fails on launch in the beta than not having a beta at all and having it fail when they launch it for real. It is frustrating though, I think once things are a bit more stable and we're in the proper game things will be better :thumbup:

I don't really understand how they could have so many bugs in the first place. This game was made by a Chinese company - isn't it already finished and in production in China? Or did they release at the same time?

No. It's not even on the server list. :( Well since it looks like we can pick servers and have cities on each one, guess il make one in Royal Garden.

So you know how they have their databases set up, how the game is coded and how they interact? Jagex is a smart company, they know what resetting means and does. They would have not unless they had too.

True - could have still done with some initial testing though by Jagex or the game developers. I think they call it Alpha testing.

 

The game is brilliant and a lot of fun, but im choosing to stay clear of it now until its launched.

I am hearing the same thing I have yet to hear any confirmation from a J-Mod though. I would imagine they would give us credits for playing in beta mode and dealing with all this hassle. BUT..... DON"T QUOTE ME ON THAT! :wink: ( So actually I have no idea if it's true or not. )
