I enjoy how jagex failed to see how they have messed up some things with this update.

 

After the update:

FIGHTER Torso had 0 attack bonuses. --Fixed--

RANGER Helmet gives negative range bonus. (Use to give range bonus)

FIGHTER Hat gives 0 attack bonuses. (Use to give slash bonus)

 

Those are the main bonuses they messed up big time.

Don't forget stab bonus of fighter hat too. My only reason for wanting one but um now no thanks <_<

They took some items that had some niche uses and took those away, making them much worse then what they were even if it was only for only limited uses.

Still missing Fighter Hat's bonuses... :-(

! By the way it had +5 Stab, Slash, AND Crush accuracy. I always had to choose wisely between it and Neitz in duels... :D

 

Also, why do 45 Defense people not just use Void Melee? ...

Also, like to add that most "Mains" who could not afford use the BCP resorted to the Fighter Torso, so it's not mainly cause of pures.

 

Oh the updated torso has a

62 to 66 Stab Defence bonus, -40 to -30 Mage Bonus and 0 to +30 Summoning Defence bonus.

What about the ranger hat having no range bonus? The fighter hat have no bonus? If they put the str back on the torso they should put the range and melee bonuses back on the ranger and fighter hat

This was a horrible update for the armours, stop believing only pures took hits. While the I don't really care about the torso, the helmets and boots took unnecessarily nerfs.

 

And no, the 3 prayer points a minute does not make up for that.

It was +5 and that would take away +3 strength bonus.

JaGeX shouldn't have changed it back. It was a dumb thing to do, as it just proves, like always, that the whiny people who either limit themselves or are too stingy to buy Bandos get rewarded for being that way.

Your analogy is flawed. What Jagex should release is a new piece of armor that can be worn by both male and female characters featuring a large bust area. It would need some decent stats, but instead of strength bonus, perhaps a prayer one?
