I've never actually been to the midwest, the closest I've been was Wyoming and it was really nice there so idk. I'm going to have to disagree with you all though and say Washington is the best state, closest port to Asia in the USA, not too hot and we didn't get ANY snow out of the passes this winter (even though I love snow I'd hate to get how much the east coast got this year).

Even if it's a dumb story, telling it changes other people just the slightest little bit, just as living the story changes me. An infinitesimal change. And that infinitesimal change ripples outward-ever smaller but everlasting. I will get forgotten, but the stories will last. And so we all matter-maybe less than a lot, but always more than none.

Wyoming. Way to be named after a [bleep]ing valley in Pennsylvania. Man up and get your own damn name.

Hah. Wasn't Pennsylvania named after like John Penn or something? I'm really stretching my brain to social studies last year..

EDIT: Nevermind, it was named after William Penn. I was close though ;)

Every state is created equal.

Except Texas. We're really 4 little states combined together :o

California was the entire West before America won it in the war and shrinked it's size.

So we're a quarter of a continent. Boo yah.

Only we got to stay our size.

Ouch, i felt that from here!

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Although Ohio drivers do suck [wagon].

I'm glad no buckeyes have taken offense to that yet  .

Having lived in Ohio all my life, I think it's something most sensible people can agree on.

I know at least five guys at my school who have gotten their license taken away multiple times because they're idiots on the road.

What really pisses me off is when they get a ticket, go to court over it because they're [puncture]s about it, and get off because the damn cop doesn't show up. I'll never be that lucky.

I drive like a grandma, so if you want to get somewhere 5 minutes before I do and risk getting a ticket or crashing in the process, have at it in the left hand lane.

But on topic...

I've always had a bad taste from Michigan. Don't ask me why, because I really don't know, but I've never had any desire to go there.

I also wouldn't consider Wyoming midwestern, although the topic is random being only Midwestern states. If we're going to have a hate topic, let's hate on them all.

Because of Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. That dumb [bleep], she thinks she's so funny wishing to go back to that hick state of hers. Who in their right mind would want to go back to a place that literally just had a tornado that uprooted their house?!

I don't see why those couple said South Dakota. I've lived here for 19 years, and the only reasons people say it sucks is because the come here and are really too lazy to figure out things to do. Not only have I lived in South Dakota for 19 years, 18 of those years was on a reservation. Trust me, we find things to do everyday all day long. The weather always keeps it interesting as well. I can tell you one story, one day back in high school, we went to school in short sleeve shirt and shorts...next day we had a snow day due to a blizzard. And just for clarification, I'm not a hillbilly. I was never a farmer, I can enunciate my words and I'm in college.

Illinois for sure. The most boring state ever. Have you ever had to try through there from the south to north? Takes forever. It's flat and all there is is corn fields <_< Every time I go to Wisconsin (because that's where I'm from and my family lives there), we go through Illinois.

I was bred to hate Wisconsin.

Same here. Those freaking cheesehead packer-backers.
