March 3, 201016 yr in recent updates there is a thread called nice attempt at building hype and the first reply is mod chris, he says. Because we're doing a major infrastructure upgrade today. It's not something we normally do and there's scope for things not to go as planned. I hope most people appreciate the extra warning - no hype was intended. I bet the update that has to do with content is still pretty nice though. oh then a bit farther down mod nexus says. Most people only read the forums/news when we have an update. If we have a news post to warn of the upcoming changes beforehand without a system update it takes a bit longer for the information to propagate itself. The post is simply to explain that the servers won't reboot immediately and will prevent the large amount threads that could be titled similiar to: "Runescape down?""OMG where are teh servz0rs?" and us getting many bug reports regarding something we know about.
