I am spores. I can also create acid which can melt through solid rock and oil which protects me from fire (Adapting to weaknesses)

Earth, you realise that whether or not you're out of my range is down to a diceroll, correct?

Does anyone know exactly how recruiting/technologies work?

Probably not. Who knows though.

How about we stop trash talking and settle it on the battlefield. I'm feeling pretty confident, since you guys are pretty much suicide charging me. Hell, Earth is sending like 75% of his population at me. If he loses, he'll be basically screwed for the rest of the game

Also, remember the toxic fog. I assume you'd have trouble aiming from up in the sky.

I'm still pretty sure you're not out of my range. Especially not the titans.

Ross one of the Titans is protecting the oracle at all times. The other one fought my hero for a bit and they were pretty much even... Though I would hope that we keep up the trash talking (seriously am I the only one here who is wondering if the oil is conductive?)

Eheh, @ Mather and Ross:

Remember the Eel Poison and Irritants? Daeka wouldn't be very receptive to hosts. You also need to get through the skin to infect your host...

And I have no intention of fighting anyone, yet. If we come to blows, Ross, I will build favour until Adakkar (being god of Flux) can change the essential nature of the Scathe... snapping a mind isn't too hard, so what about one mind for thousands of creatures?

Adakkar is the god of Flux, natural, positive change. All things change, and all things die, as someday must the Scathe.

The hivemind grows stronger with every single being added to it, so I highly doubt you'd be able to snap it.

To be honest though, you and Mather are the only ones I cannot infect, so are the ones who pose the most threat to me, and besides, with the oracle, other gods powers are all but cut off.

Enough, we settle this on the battlefield, the time for words has passed.

Goa'uld enter by leaping at their victim's neck (or mouth), with their mouths shut and [bleep]s as a single razor-sharp needle, then then open their mouths a little once their head is inside to propel themselves a little, then they wriggle into position aroud the victim's spine. the poison and irritants won't affect them (as it only touches the points of their fangs).

You need not worry however, I'm not the fighting kind of guy.

Ross, the Daeka would be willing to accept the Scathe, if they move on from normal areas (like, you would keep the Oracle) and allow the Daeka to rebuild the land afterwards. The Daeka are beings of change, and new beginnings are inevitable. So long as the species and their knowledge are preserved, to be reintegrated later into the environment, destruction is acceptable.

Eheh, Mather, Daeka have spiked bone plates. They could have razored mouths, or necks, and we could coat the spinal cord in poisonus residue. Or we could just create veins that connect to any foreign component and integrate them into the circulation, and if we have poisonus blood...

Razor-sharp teeth beat bone and they allready connect themselves to the host biologically, then they heal the host and themselves using the host's energy. And coating your spine in poison is a very bad idea, as is making your blood poisonous (any poison causes living matter to break by destroying the cells' fatty exterior, you need toxins to do something else, the only toxins that are non-poisons and non-disease are neuro-toxins, which I use.

Thank you Ross, for causing conflict and making this game interesting. That's why I made the oracle in the first place. Incidentally, I am working on the map, so it should be up sometime tonight.

The goa'uld study the texts long and hard, asking Bob for insight (200 points).

The texts seem impossible to read at your current level, especially when your people have barely mastered their own language.

All swamp plants are removed from the environment, and grown only in the biofluxes. The Researchers, Mixers, and Priests clean all of the Daeka, and flush their skin with Eel Poison (a safe distance from anywhere it could cause damage). They try to work out a way to save the local ecosystem and remove the contaminants.

The swamp plants are removed, and the Daeka begin relying on animals for their sustinance. Unfortunately, with their current population number, this is unsustainable (one year until they lose food production and begin starving).

The leader of Ikana tells priests to begin training 50 monks, which are to spread the state religion about the city and outlying areas. Construction begins on a large wall that will encompass the entire city of Ikana. Scouts are sent out to search for anything interesting, especially resources. The cartographer continues working on the desert map, along with a little of the areas surrounding it. The 200 phalanx pikemen continue to be trained.

Construction also begins on a large "filter" which will be placed on a section of the river that streams by Ikana. This filter will consist of various fibers & minerals tested to remove the toxins from the water.

The prior of the local monastery takes you aside one day to ask you a question. "M'lord, don't you think we should appoint you the leader of our church, and rule the land as a theocracy? It would certainly help our conversion efforts.

The scouts find an island several miles offshore, though they cannot really see what is on it.

The filter has little to no effect on the contaminants.

"Perhaps this would be a good idea, prior. So be it."

The scouts are instructed to take a boat and explore the island. Research begins on crossbows and continues on perfecting the certain mixture. (how does research work?)

Yep Grim, but could you please put your forces in a list format as well? It makes it much easier for me. That goes for everyone, and I still need the battle plans from Ross and if you would, a more detailed plan from Earth.

Oh Paul, your project with the various things succeeded, though it hasn't been perfected. It works fine though. (I usually roll once a year for it)
