Hi all,

 

The Clan Chronicle is back after a few months of hibernation. We have simply needed more writers (guest and regulars), as 1 or 2 people can't run it alone.

That said, we are happy to be back (and we hope to receive more guest articles)! :^_^:

 

This issue's main focus is the crash wars. Yes, once again we're dealing with the big bad boys and girls, and they are not afraid to give you their view on things - including DDoSing, crashing, honour and school. (What?!) We have two articles on this subject, with different angles on the same subject - one is from the beginning of the year, the second is smoking fresh. Maybe things have changed the past few months? Read and find out.

 

CWA - The next generation... of clans. Old versus new, improvements or not? Jagex are doing things to better the relations with clans, but are they doing the right things?

 

Display name change was a highly anticipated update, but there were some side effects. Some of them were specific for clans, and there's a short guest article about that.

 

Of course we didn't forget to mention the Tip.It Clan Tournament 2010. If you want to catch up on the basics, background, rules or just want to find out who's still in, you can read the "introduction" article on it. Well, it's also to explain the concept for those who aren't yet familiar with it, and so you can be up to date when the next issue comes out - with more TICT related stories, articles and interview.

Arbok is horrible tbh.

From a point of view of someone who has very little experience in the PK Clan views, (Perhaps Skilling clans, but of course that isn't classified as the same.) I found that to be an excellent read. I was never aware of how much diplomacy is involved in clans and how the general concept can go pear-shaped. :P

 

This Crash War, while I do think on one side, perhaps people should have a little bit more respect and know when to stop the crashing but I believe it is good on the flip side, this prepares Clans to be more paranoid (in a good way), to expect the worst possible situation and be ready for crashers which builds Clan members tactics, at least it seems that it would.

 

But I still don't see why Clan Leaders can't discuss it with each other to make an agreement to stop the crashing, perhaps it is fun but is it building relations with other clans? There is always room for fun events to be arranged where everyone can join in and mess about in low level amour. But hey, what do I know, I never been in a player killing clan. :P

 

I'm glad to hear DDoSing is on the slow down, as its a petty excuse to do anything, RuneScape, out of game or anything and I wish people would have a bit more respect for each other, it IS only a game after all.

 

The improvements for Clans seem to be linking a lot to this weeks Times, I would like to see Clan Halls stuff and the like. The things Jagex can make which we can't, I think we are set for communication. More In-game stuff which would help, not replace anything that is already fine.

BAHAHAHA, that crashing war interview was quite entertaining. Both VR and Anti-VR are mouthing off on each other. It was expected of course, but funny nonetheless.

It was good to read as always, good job to all those involved.

A lot to do with VR, some might say too much.

Yes, we'll just have to take that as a compliment I guess... At least most of them still credit us for writing the articles. ;)

 

 

I know that a few of you are tired of readng about the crashing wars, but others have requested more - more - MORE about it. :) We can't please everyone, even though we try. The next issue will of course have another main focus, and we are already working on getting some great articles prepared - in addition to those promised. Ideas we receive are passed on to the writing team, and you are ALWAYS welcome to sent guest articles to my PM inbox. <3:

Teams have been discussed way too much on these forums, search topics, nothing more can be said regardless of if it is in an article or not.
