June 2, 201016 yr This is the last task to finish the Karamja Achievement Diaries and its killing me. I'm pretty poor and I want to just get it over with, but everytime I reach him (wave 31, level 360), I get K.O.'d with 300s despite having magic prayer on. I don't even have the time to get K.O.'d by his melee, he kills me in two hits with the little sparkly thingie he shoots. Right now, adding up my money that I'm willing to spend, I still don't have enough for Guthans. I tried just barreling through with melee, sharks, and prayer potions, it worked until he killed me. Should I just start out with range this time? I never took Fight Pits seriously, never really saw the point in the Fire Cape. Maybe someone can help?

June 2, 201016 yr All you need to do is kill a lv360? I assume you can get to one; just pray magic (as soon as you know you're on the right wave) and range/mage or halberd one. Do not close range melee. If you're out of it's melee range and have protect from magic on, you will take no damage. Suggest a poll for Tip.it - Here!

June 2, 201016 yr If for some reason your mage prayer is glitched, chuck on melée/piety, claws/whip, Mage defence gear and rush him@@@@ Drops: Black Mask.Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff.
June 2, 201016 yr The chance of there being a glitch is EXTREMELY small. It's more likely you're misreading something, misseeing something, or just overlooking something. Also like they said, range him, no close range melee. PM me for fitocracy invite

June 3, 201016 yr well say u need bare minimun priced items this was my setup when i got my firecapeblack dhide body vambs and verac skirt ranger/neit/full slayer helmfury500 diamond tipped boltsaccumulatorzerk ringdragon bootsthen i had like 100 purple candy13 s brews to like 5 s restoresand the rest prayer pots this worked well with me i made it to jad 4 times got 2 firecapes on my first 2 tries then i got ko'ed twice lol made mistake on siwtchin prayers

I can GUARANTEE you didn't have mage pray on in time. You need to have the prayer on BEFORE he begins his attack move, unlike jad, not when it hits you. June 3, 201016 yr That's happened to me before, where the mage prayer is on, but doesn't take effect. Just try again, as stated if you pray mage you cannot get hurt. I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001. June 3, 201016 yr Turn on mage protect BEFORE the wave with the 360 spawns. Prayer has been messed up for awhile and has had a delay on prayers activating. Other than that, killing just one 360 should be easy, and even easier with guthans if you want to save for it.
June 4, 201016 yr Yup, what they said, pray mage before the 360 appears. It's much harder to avoid the 360's attacks unless you have pro mage on beforehand
