I guess if you sercured the camera perfectly to the otherside of the merry-go-round so that it was able to focus on the couple, but nothing that wasn't moving at the same velocity as the merry-go-round you may get a similar effect. But I don't think the blur would look so radial...
Legosimx
Alright, I have a question about sigs, and forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask it. I have seen how some people have pictures in their sigs, that when you refresh, the picture changes. How can I do that, and will it work off Tip.it, or is special to this site. Thanks in advance :)

Deathmath
As per redplanet: Basically, I want a point and shoot camera with decent quality, a decent number of settings, and decent battery life. Basically a sub $200 camera, preferably sub 150 that I could use for taking pictures of stuff on vacations and stuff with friends. (no DSLR) Oh, and at least 3x optical zoom and the ability to take low quality videos :) I've been looking at the Canon quickshots, but brand doesn't matter too much to me. There are so many brands/cameras I'm overwhelmed. Can anybody help? Also feel free to tell me if I need to give more information. Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
Johannas
I keep seeing photos like this:Any idea how this is produced? I think it's not edited at all. The camera has been somehow mounted on the middle of the roundabout, so it spins with the subject matter, theoretically the foreground should be sharp whilst the background blurred - which it is. Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!

Sam
You can achieve that effect by using the panning technique on a slow exposure, and then activate your flash near the end of the shot to add a little extra light. I'm not completely sure if I'm right, but you can always speak to a more experienced and well versed photographer than I. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
Wongtong
Hooray, I finally found an example. A while ago, I asked how to make a font a selection, but no one answered properly >_>I randomly found an image of what I meant..(the font that says "Happy") Is there an easy way to select text in Photoshop? In paint shop pro (I think) there is an option to make the font a selection, but I can't find anything like it in Photoshop. Any ideas/tips? 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!

Wongtong
Oh, you mean when you just grab an image of the internet and want to select the text? Here is an example of what I mean: 1. Get an image 2. Make a font selection over the picture. (I just lasso'ed really badly) 3. Separate the font so that the font is made out of the image. So basically I wanted to know how to create something like the image above using actual fonts by making them a selection. I dunno if I'm making sense, oh well. Sam
Write down your text in desired font, then paste the image you want to be inside the text the layer above. You then right click the layer above your text and click on "create clipping mask". Simples. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
