March 13, 201115 yr He's making a bank out of Bedrock and placing protected chests inside that only the owners can loot i believe. :P
March 13, 201115 yr LowC, that wasn't a dead end. :/ 10:53 PM - retech9691: I feel the need10:53 PM - retech9691: To include many chasms in my story arc10:53 PM - Resistance: You mean plotholes? Remember, Remember, the 4th of NovemberRIP Dawngate ;-;
March 13, 201115 yr Just generated a new world, there's a spawner sunk into the beach I spawned on, literally like 30 blocks away. [bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp
March 14, 201115 yr Any idea on how I can get loads of Cobblestone in Survival? I want to make a manor out of it, but the mining of all that cobblestone seems like it's gonna take awhile. Also, how does one access Creative mode?
March 14, 201115 yr Any idea on how I can get loads of Cobblestone in Survival? I want to make a manor out of it, but the mining of all that cobblestone seems like it's gonna take awhile. Also, how does one access Creative mode? Just find where you're going to construct your manor, find a suitable hillside nearby, then dig into it. Go down/back a bit, hollow it out into a room, place chest, forge, workbench, make a 5x5 hole in the middle of the room, fence it off, make sure you have adequate ladders/torches, and then just dig until you hit Bedrock. If you want you can then pick out depths to create a floor and branch out looking for caves/dungeons, all the while acquiring more Cobblestone. :3 Just dig and dig and eventually you'll realise you have more Cobblestone than you have use for. sleep like dead men wake up like dead men
March 14, 201115 yr If mining isn't your thing you could probably create a cobblestone generator using water and lava, but that takes more effort, plus I honestly have no idea how you'd arrange the water and lava source blocks so your mined cobblestone doesn't get incinerated. Personally, I'd just dig down to bedrock, and dig out a big room - like 20x20 and 3 blocks high or something. Keep stripping out the area, you'll get your cobble and more materials to replenish your tools eventually. As for Creative mode, I have no clue - there's no option for it in the downloaded version, so I assume it's only available on the website somewhere. I've never played it, though.
March 14, 201115 yr If you want absurd amounts of cobblestone, strip-mining at/near bedrock is the way to go. That way, you can pretty quickly strike diamond, make a diamond pick, and therefore get cobblestone faster. Keep 3 blocks between each strip if you make more than one. ~ W ~
March 14, 201115 yr Ah, thanks a lot. I'll try some strip mining then. I'll post some pictures when I'm done :3
March 14, 201115 yr I'm getting pissed off that I only get like 5fps these days. I just built a massive tree farm but once I start cutting trees my fps tanks immediately. Time to do the one tree and bone meal method. Glad I wasted like 5 hours making a farm with several hundred trees. Luckily I only made 2 floors instead of the 10 I planned on doing. [bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp
March 14, 201115 yr It's because in the code the leaves are constantly checking to see weather or not they are supported by a trunk. There's actually a mod to disable leaf decay, if you don't mind clearing leaves as opposed to [cabbage]ty FPS.
March 14, 201115 yr Been working on a massive underground mine system. We plan on making towns and stuff as well as resources such as tree farms and underground farms ect. So far we have a massive lobby with two double boosters going two directions. We plan on making towns along the tunnels that our mine-carts follow. We also have 2 storage rooms 2 workshops, 2 furnaces rooms, and 5 bedrooms for our workers. I'll post some pictures after bit.
March 14, 201115 yr Wait, since when are we planning on doing all that? It sounds awesome. Click here to check out my Youtube channel!
March 14, 201115 yr Is it possible to start this game without paying a monthly fee? Because the sandbox gameplay seems really fun :D Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
March 14, 201115 yr You can play Classic (sandbox) for free, or get the whole game for a one-time payment of 15 while it's still in Beta, which is really worth it. This signature is intentionally left blank.
March 14, 201115 yr I never really liked this game, however the maker did a good job on it. For the time he spent, it seems extremely successful.
March 14, 201115 yr Is it possible to start this game without paying a monthly fee? Because the sandbox gameplay seems really fun :DThere's no monthly fee, it's a one-time thing. If you're too cheap for that, you could try to find someone who doesn't use his account any more.
March 14, 201115 yr Oh it's a one-time thing. Already paying for World of Warcraft so didn't want another monthly fee on top of that. If you're too cheap for that, you could try to find someone who doesn't use his account any more. Anyone not using his/her account? :P EDIT: Can you remap the keys in beta? March 15, 201115 yr Yes you can remap the keys, but not all of them. The only keys which aren't there are the F keys which do... F1: Removes HUD and your arm from viewF2: Takes a screenshotF3: Displays FPS, memory usage, and statsF5: Switches you to third person viewF10: No idea, it makes you turn more slowlyF11: Full screen
March 15, 201115 yr So its basically 99% of the important keys can be toggled. I think I may stop by the server today...I meant to go on yesterday but went off to do things with friends. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
March 16, 201115 yr Holy Christ, who built the lighthouse? Is it legit? If so  Get back here so I can rub your butt.
March 16, 201115 yr Holy Christ, who built the lighthouse? Is it legit? If so  Everything is legit (other than the bank which is protected by bedrock). I haven't seen the lighthouse but I remember someone talking about it. Where is it located?
March 16, 201115 yr It's in the water on an island near the - actually, I don't know what direction. Just walk around the edges of the new town and you'll see it. Can't miss it. Anyways, just had kind of a creepy experience on the server. I was mining at adminium when I decided to call it quits. I was lost, but I tunneled into another long, one block wide tunnel. I followed it forever, and it was weird because in some areas the walls and floor were made of obsidian. It went on forever to a dead end, at which point I stair-tunneled to the surface. I was in the middle of nowhere, so I walked in the direction I BELIEVED the town was in. Eventually I came to an area that had torches, there was some cobblestone and floating planks with a sign that said "Why are you following me? Stop." I could see through some chunk errors that there was a burning forest in the distance. When I came to it I lost connection. Weird. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
