Godville - ELITES = #1 Guild

I've seen two Godville Admins so far, both completely destroyed my hero (although he was smart enough to flee before he keeled over both times).

 

Level 10 now, on his sixth quest, and 0.4% temple done. Gear is as follows:

 

table knife -7

toilet seat cover -7

cook's cap -5

star-spangled shirt -5

pair of pink fur mittens -6

diver's flippers -6

spiked collar -6

 

Haven't died yet. Also have 3 charges in my accumulator, although I'm not too sure what exactly I'll do with it >.> not too interested in the arena, I've never really liked pvp in any game. Probably will be starting the quest to join ELITES within another day or two.

What the hell? My hero has never spent so much money in his life! That would have been enough money to revive his pet if Oy had died!

 

Also I didn't think one of my ideas would end up with 44 yes's and 7 no's. It was only "Note to self: %weapon% does not make a good toothpick."

The Ironing Man was sent on its final journey with one clean stroke. I searched the surrounding area and found an alchemical transmuter and 13 coins.

Following a sudden desire, peeked into the knapsack and found one golden brick in place of where a bold trophy used to be. That is what I call a true miracle!

About 1/5th of the way through level 11-12 right now. Gear is improving:

 

-7 table knife

-5 big pot cover

-3 iron crown

-2 chemical protection suit -1 pair of wooden wings (just bought as I was typing - he seems to like buying body armor and helmets in particular)

-6 pair of pink mittens (still... >_>)

-6 diver's flippers

-6 spiked collar

 

On my 9th quest atm, still no deaths. Managed to get two philosopher's stones earlier today and a single bold item, had to use one early, and it ate the other stone >.> still got two gold bricks out of it though, now at... 0.8% temple completion. Still has 2.5k gold on him even after the shopping trip. Bet that half goes into booze and gambling before he leaves.

 

EDIT: Fuu, I was right. There goes 2.2k gold, lol >.< and he went back to Boatmurdered again. How entertaining.

Just hit level 12, and my hero has decided already to join some random guild. Already hit cancel quest, and now I can't use godpower at all. Still 15% left, but I can't click the button at all >.< oh, and he's still doing the quest, the % is still going up.

 

Think he'll auto cancel once he goes back to town?

 

EDIT: Just decided to use my one accumulator charge left. The send button is working now. Maybe I can force my [wagon] hero to actually cancel his quest -.-

 

EDIT 2: 30% godpower down, and the button's disabled again. In town getting drunk now, maybe he'll cancel after that... he responded with 'to quest or not to quest, that is the question!' twice, but I have zero clue if that means he's cancelling or not.

 

EDIT (again): Got him to cancel with about 25% godpower left. Then he ignored every attempt I made to tell him to join ELITES, and now he's trying to join some other stupid guild.

 

Barael, you are a [wagon]. -.-

 

Hopefully, when I hit 100% godpower, that'll actually be enough to make him listen...

Make sure he isn't in combat, or it won't work. Also, your odds are much better if you are in a town, so send him to the arena and when the fight is over tell him to cancel.

Also if it keeps loading a command and locks the button, the command already went through but the website hasn't updated, a simple refresh will fix that.

Does anyone else think that your equipment doesn't really do much, if anything? I do more damage to an opponent who has better equipment than he does to me, and vice versa.

 

EDIT: Got in a fight and won.

 

Notes from the battlefield: Nahri was killed. Sarg1010 got 788 coins. Sarg1010 became an owner of a great rag: armor of the Fallen Demon. Sarg1010 puts lock of Nahri's hair into his bag.

Well, I can convince my hero to cancel his quest, but after that, every attempt to tell him to join this guild gets the 'bugger off' response. Is there only one small period of time where I can enter a command at town and he'll listen, or is my hero just an ass about listening?

 

Down over 100% godpower for today, plus the 70% ish I used last night. He's picked three random guilds so far, and he seems to completely ignore every attempt I make to get him into this guild.

 

Probably going to give up and let him do what he wants. This really isn't worth the several hours of trying to get him into one guild. I want to try one more time, at least. Got him to go back to town, but I have 10% godpower left.

Yep, I've been in town every time so far. I wait till he's done at the shops, then spammed him with cancel quest - that only took 2-3 tries. Then he completely ignored me telling him to join Elites, saying he was too busy/awesome and was trying to score a date -.-

 

Completely out of godpower now. I guess I'll have to try again once I get back up to 100%.

Guh. The first time my hero actually decided to fight one of the mobs robbing the Golden Brick Caravan, he gets slaughtered and I don't check on him for like 2 days.

 

Has anyone been in one of those encounters and won? Do you get golden bricks for it?
