sa121
New Question: I just thought of this, and decided to add into this help thread since I already have one open - What diaries are worthwhile to do? Doesn't necessarily have to be completely finished, but how far in which diaries should I get? For some background, I mostly pk and monster hunt, but I'm thinking of doing a lil' bit more skilling in the future. [hide=Old Question]I've sort of forgot exactly how sacred clay tools from stealing creation work, but if I recall correctly, they last for X xp, then break down. Would it be worthwhile to use them during bonus xp weekend, then? I have 680 SC points from various fun games, and was considering getting 80 con or smithing this weekend - would it be worthwhile to use clay hammers this weekend? All the other ones are fairly obsolete for me. cowmaster187
seers is definetly worth the enhacnce excalibur, it is great for slayer and just all around combat the lumby tele is near a spirit tree patch ( although mine is in ecteria) it is also near port sarim and the fally farming patch the kar gloves is ok if you get slayer tasks from duradel/lapalok however most people use kuradal now any way the ardy cape is good for corping i suppose idk at all. also even for the most rich people free money should never be obsolete do the daily staffs they are easy money. ~~~legoman187~~~ Clicky siggy for blogThanks Pendonub for fancy new sigThieving guide[WIP]Loyal player since May 2005 and member since November 2005 and Tifer for many years~~~legoman187~~~

Just a small farming xp boost for one patch, pretty much. Fremennik mainly helps with topping off favor at Miscellania, but it also gives a some free lyre teleports and has several more niche uses as well. You also need it for Blood Runs Deep. Ardougne is really great for a lot of things and very helpful for farming in particular (herbs and bushes). Varrock is important for mining. sa121
Hm, I'm still thinking ardy is the only one really worth doing - I guess I might do some varrock as well for battlestaves. Thanks for the input! *note* I've been ignoring the seer's diary becuase I have no use for an enchanted excalibur - I have soul split, unicorn, and every other healing device I'd ever need, and wasting spec for the ee wouldn't be worthwhile compared to soulsplitting a couple dclaw specs, imo. Lumbridge Diary is worth doing for the cabbage teleport for farming herbs, and Varrock is worth doing for the mining bonus. The others are less exciting, but keep in mind they do give you some nice xp lamps. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP
Southpark0o
All of you skipped the point of the Varrock armour 3. When mining/smithing anything up to adamantite (correct me if I'm wrong) you have a chance of getting double ore/smithing two ores at the same time. (Which grants all exp). (Plus the battlestaves). Here's the others while I'm at it.. The Falador shield gives a free Prayer recharge a day, meh. But then the Cabbage ring is the fastest way to get to the falador Farming patch, which I use every day. Ardougne cape gives a free teleport to ardougne Farming spot once a day (unless you can do elites then all the time) and unlimited teleports to the Monastery, where you can recharge your prayer easily. Also this capes give 10% more runes at Ourania. (ZMI) Also better chance of a successful pickpocket anywhere around RuneScape. Karamja gloves give discounts at all stores in Karamja <-- Not really worth it. Free teleport to Shilo Village. 10% more exp at Brimhaven Agility Arena. Seers Headband - Seriously, I have no idea what this does, but it's not too good. The Enhanced Excalibur is totally worth it though. Fremmennik sea boots are not useful IMO.. Nothing to say here. -- Click for bloggy ^^
onedaysoon
Depends on what sort of things you do/plan to do. If you skill often the most useful ones would be the Karamaja Gloves, The Explorers ring, the Ardy Cape and the Varrock Armour. If you prefer to kill things then the Seers/Ardy Diaries are better.I would really recommend doing them all, except maybe the Fremmy ones, as you don't really get much out of them at all. Dax
I'd do them all (Like I have), but I wouldn't stress too much over Fremennik, as it's the only one I never use. #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
Vulxai
I'd do them all, it is just a game after all, might as well do them. It's not like there's a time limit, so you don't have to stress over whether it's worth it. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~

topham
If you want to get Balmung for killing Daggs from Blood Runs Deep then you must complete the Fremmy Diary, otherwise there no real benefit to doing it. -Destroy Topham-
