I want an item that is good all round for bossing and slayer, so im very stuck as to which chatic i should be getting :(, at first, rapier seemed to be auto win, but several friends have been suggeston cls, can someone try and enlighten me into the pro's and con's of each weapon? and which one i should be getting? Also, think of this. CLS with rune defender = faster, more accurate godsword. Er, no, rapier > CLS at both of those. Considering OP is maxed melee, has turm and extremes/ovl's, rapier is superior for almost everything. CLS is better for zil and (possibly) better for graardor. That's about it. Also keep in mind that maul > CLS at both of the aforementioned bosses, unless you're using a divine. CR meanwhile is better for almost every slayer task, better at DK's, and according to quite a lot of people better at kril (I've heard he has low defense). DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). And if you go for a second chaotic and get maul, it and the rapier basically trump cls anywhere you go unless ur talking about tanking with divine and such at bosses.
