Clan Europe -vs- True 0wnage

 

Nykimu set up a pair of wars with True 0wnage, one of them being for TWR:

• Corrupt Dragon NOT Allowed,
   
  
• North Spawn Attacks then reverse

Some people on Tip.It had been anticipating this fight since both clans are regarded highly for their matched ops prowess. I had heard that T0 was going to try a new tactic against us so we prepared with greater caution.

 

 

[TWR] Round 1: Melee -&- Binds

We out-pulled T0 and dropped down from 27 people. After dropping, we out-leveled TO quite a bit but didn't want to get complacent since we had no idea what T0 had planned. The fight started with CE piling T0's lower levels and taking them down faster then T0 could take down our members. Due to the 2 sniper cap, we didn't send snipers and employed a sniping tactic of our own and heavy antisnipe on those T0 sent who quickly went back to the main pile. T0 dropped piles and tried switching, managing to finish off some of those they dropped but ith solid binds throughout, we cleaned house.

 

Well done CE, you guys did everything right today, binds, tanking, tactics and antisniping were virtually flawless.

T0 unfortunately dropped a few people due to it getting late and CE cut from 27 people again. Since we had cut low levels last round they fought this round however despite this we still out-leveled T0 slightly. It started very even, with a great first tank from a CE member. However T0 kept pace and it was neck and neck until CE's tanking improved and we took more people down faster than T0 could. Again, we finished off with a solid ending.

 

Very well done to Maffiosea - you set a fantastic example by asking us for tanking advice and then pull of a cracking first tank! Well done to all however, binds slipped a bit but for the most part: a sound performance.

Is Rapier better then G2h for warring?

Thanks for the fight CE, and thank you very much for dropping. We gave it our best shot, our binds slacked a lot and the first few tanks we had were pretty rusty. Really enjoyed that war, had trouble leading myself. Hopefully we'll come accross each other again sometime.
