Fastest Skills TODAY?

Featured Replies

I'm just wondering what the fastest skills to level are TODAY. Please also estimate the cost.

I'm estimating the costs here.

Cooking: 10-15m

Fletching: 10m?

Firemaking 45(ish)-99: 5m?

do you want them in order of speed or cost

lol

Edited thread. :P

The cost of what?

Thieving, cost nothing

Cooking, cost 5-10 mill.

Construction, cost... alot...

O.O

I think he wants like xp/hr rates, for a specific method, and the cost of that method in gp/hr, at a guess.

What I'm asking is what is the fastest skills in runescape, and if you know the cost of them as well.

fletching - 1.2m xp/h - 4 gp/xp (fletching adamant bolts)

prayer - 940k xp/h - 26 gp/xp (frost bones on gilded altar)

herblore - 700k xp/h - 40 gp/xp (overloads)

construction - 600k xp/h - 15 gp/xp (mahog tables)

crafting - 600k xp/h - 14 gp/xp (cutting dstones)

cooking - 450k xp/h - 3 gp/xp (wines)

firemaking - 425k xp/h - 4.75 gp/xp (magics)

ranged - 375k xp/h - 3 gp/xp (?) (chinning at ape atoll)

thieving - 250k xp/h - 0 gp/xp (plunder)

magic - 240k xp/h - 4 gp/xp (hunter kit + string jewelry)

smithing - 225k xp/h - 13gp/xp (adamant platebodies)

Dayum, nice list. I'll wait for more results to compare.

If you have mousekeys on, you can just press + twice to withdraw 4 items (1 + = two clicks) for making overloads (need 6 sets of 4 items). Only thing I use mousekeys for lol. Using this to withdraw quickly, you can easily make 1k+ overloads per hour, so over 1m herb exp/hr, although this doesn't take into account the time actually making the extremes.

Look at Grimy's spreadsheets. They have gp/xp and xp/hr for most skills

Barrows:

Verac- Helm, Brassard x 2,

Torag- Body, Hammers

Karil- Crossbow

Guthan- Body

Ahrim- Hood, Staff

That's against the rules as 1 input must equal 1 output, btw.

Just saying so you know

Yes but you have to factor in the time making extreme pots.

Anymore ?

"double click" has been 1 output since probably before you were born.

A double click requires 2 clicks though, and pressing the + sign once is just 1 input... so... better to be on the safe side?

Wait, I misread what you wrote, , so in that case, go with that.

Actually the mouse keys double click is allowed.

O.O

no, double click is one output, and is not bannable

Double click are 2 clicks, therefore 2 inputs/outputs. But as you can see at the wiki linked at this page, jagex allows you using that + button because it is a standard and otherwise they would have to ban the whole mousekeys.

Double click counts as one action/input in java, so no worries.

Some of the items in here aren't "technically" the fastest. In terms of gp/hr, they are more efficient than technical speed.

Cooking, as described in the other thread, would be faster with Rocktails at the Cooking Guild with Varrock Armor 3 (Basically, just the diary done) and mousekeys. It yields between 800-900k/hr and it profits. But, it has much steeper requirements.

I'm thinking Broad Arrows are faster than Adamant Bolts. I could be wrong.

top_lel_face.png

afaik broad arrows are more like 400k xp/hr.
