December 5, 200916 yr Why not just keep the dragon bones? there's nothing wrong with them...But then F2P prayer training would be too fast, therefore kicking it out of the "hardest skill in F2P" title.I feel that award already goes to runecrafting, as prayer can at least be done alongside combat.
December 5, 200916 yr Why not just keep the dragon bones? there's nothing wrong with them..."But then it wouldn't be as hard" has been used so many times in so many arguments about skills, and its never a valid argument. That said, it doesn't make sense to give F2P the two worst type of bones and then the best type of bone. Dragon bones would be giving them too much. But not just because "it would make it too easy".

But not just because "it would make it too easy".It wouldn't make it much easier, anyway. It'll still take thousands upon thousands of bones, and most people who collect their own will likely stick with giants for the big bones. I would, anyway.
December 5, 200916 yr It's not like dragon bones are a must for members anyway. They have much better training methods. R.I.P. Neko :[5,445,898,965th to 99 WoodcuttingBlogs are dead

I don't know where you get the "better training methods" without having D bones... Right now, especially with the new prayers, they are a must for members. December 11, 200916 yr F2P should definately have a new way of prayer. While waiting for my membership to renew, I was raising some of my lower F2P skills. I calculated about 4.3m to get from 53-60 prayer using big bones, IMO that's a little ridiculous. Smithing is also pretty brutal, from 56-60 using steel bars it would cost me 1.8m, iron 1.6m... I'm not saying give the best ways for members to train to F2Pers, but something fresh/reasonable would be nice.

I'm not saying give the best ways for members to train to F2Pers, but something fresh/reasonable would be nice. That would be alright, but we have the gathering skills for a reason. Even if we only gather SOME of the materials, it becomes far less costly. For example, mine your own iron, buy coal and smelt (and smith if you wish). It might still result in a loss (I haven't checked prices in a long time), but a far lesser one. For prayer, if you don't want to kill thousands of giants, you could buy regular bones and bury those. It's over 3 times as many but you save a good amount of money. All I am saying is that there are alternative methods to those you mentioned. Some of which are cheaper, some more efficient.
December 11, 200916 yr Steel bars are profit as of today's prices. But they are tanking in price because people rushed to sell them in order to make lolprofitz. Btw I was thinking of using the ectofuntus instead of bone burying. But that requires bones as well so nevermind. R.I.P. Neko :[5,445,898,965th to 99 WoodcuttingBlogs are dead

There are also much cheaper methods to train smithing such as smelting. In fact one can profit doing this. December 21, 200916 yr I would like any skills that can be used in f2p, the ability to get the skillcape. Also being able to use a worse version of construction and summoning skills, by this I mean only being able to use anything in that skill up to level 50, but you can still get it higher than level 50.I think this could work because a lot of members don't use these skills and might not complain.

In addition, I would be willing to guarantee 100% that many members would indeed complain were f2p to gain access to these skills (or any members skill for that matter). The most prominent argument being that f2p do not pay for content. That being said, the upcoming skill that is going to be released will be a f2p skill, I think this is more than enough. December 22, 200916 yr I agree with Skillcape argument. Think about it, F2Pers work harder for 99 than members do. it would make sense to me that, if anyone deserves recognition for getting 99 skills, it would be free players.

Think about it, F2Pers work harder for 99 than members do. it would make sense to me that, if anyone deserves recognition for getting 99 skills, it would be free players. Well of course you can't have something thats nonmembers only. My main problems with F2P are Smithing and Prayer. These take a ridiculous amount of money(which isn't that easy to make) to level these up. Oh, and killing Moss Giants for Prayer exp? Well it takes an average lvl 100 player 10 seconds to kill a Moss Giant. Not factoring respawn times, other players training, or other distractions, that's a measly 5.4K/hour. Smithing bars is profitable, but honestly, 10K/hour is pretty nasty exp. ~~~The Harpy List~~~Harpy Facts~~~It's Super Effective~~~The Beginning~~~Harpy Therapy Center~~~Alg~~~Jedi Harpy~~~Rohirrim~~~Attenuation~~~
January 2, 201016 yr A few things I think F2P would really appreciate. 1) More Bank space - 68 spots, really? It might enough for the average Free-to-Player, but for myself and many others, it just doesn't cut it. 2) More Quests - Although the selection of Quests to do in F2P is quite fine already, an occasional Quest for us would be appreciated. Those who have done every Quest in F2P see it as something that will never be updated. 3) More Bones - The only bones we have are:- Bones- Burnt Bones- Monkey Bones- Big Bones More variety couldn't hurt, could it? 4) 3 GE Slots In total, there are 6 Grand Exchange slots for us to put offers in. I think that it's only fair that we have 3 out of 6. I mean, it's only half of what P2P get and anyways, you guys still have lots of things to do that are not possible in the F2P world. 5) Respect This is a big one. Today, I see many P2Pers addressing F2Pers as if they were lower, second-class and as if they were superior to us.I know it totally depends, but I hate to see P2Pers think of us as if we were animals with no common sense. I know not all of you do this, and it's stereotypical, but it is very common, you have to admit it.Why can't you respect the F2P community?
January 2, 201016 yr @Generia- Depending on the new skill and if they make mage competitive at higher levels, we shouldn't have bankspace at the top of our list. It would be nice, but it isn't currently a necessity (as you said, the average F2P can manage with it). I fully agree with your point on quests, though. They aren't a top priority, but they would be nice. Likewise with bones. We don't need new bones, it would just be more convenient. As for the GE slots, I do agree 3 would be fair and quite a bit better than just 2. And, of course, respect for any F2P who doesn't act like the stereotypical "noob" we are seen as being. I would never turn away an update but we need to prioritize them.
January 2, 201016 yr i been a member then back to F2P i think that we need more bank space i think for players training woodcutting need something to cut between lvl 30 and lvl 60

I'm not sure about moss giants, but I think around 30,000 combat exp per hour is much more reasonable. 30,000 combat exp per hour = 125 moss giant per hour = 1,875 prayer exp per hour
January 3, 201016 yr Why can't F2P have more ads. <img src='http://forum.tip.it/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/eusa_dance.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<img src='http://forum.tip.it/ipbnew/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />/' /> Pure gold.
