Cwars

God wars halos are amazing items for Nex/DK's, and maybe TD's

quite possibly the best item for the slot.

in terms of inventory spots saved by, the effects of the halos are rumored to be comparable to an elysian/divine.

BUT of course it's 300 cwars tickets, or 62.5 hours of nonstop winning, 83 hours of 50% wins, 50% losses, 125 hours of constant losses.

Which is, a lot of time.

So I'm wondering how many people I'd need to get together to set up a little AFK cwars group or so forth.

I mean i could afk any cwars game I wanted, but with free trade I could arrange the winners to pay off the losers for losing :P, stuff like that.

or perhaps even find a way to let people join a game that's nearly over.

but uh yeah.

How many.

2 people is all you need. There are occasions when you can't get the second person into the opposite portal (I'm not sure how to avoid that - sorry), but I've played and seen numerous 1v1's played at Castle Wars. Also, the person on the losing side can quit right after the game starts (if it helps).

I assume when they quit, you instantly win the game and get the tickets, right?

Margus.png

Yeah I've played in a game with 3 people in it, so I assume two is possible. Super, I'm guessing they probably make you wait the time in order to avoid abuse, no evidence though.

I wish. You have to wait the whole thing out, even if it's you against no one. Of course, keep in mind there's a small chance that someone may join the opposite team, meaning you actually would need to play to beat them.

To the OP: You also might want to check if the "loser" can quit and join your team. I don't know too much about CW mechanics (I play for fun and don't really pay too much attention to this kinda stuff), and I haven't played hardcore CW for a while, but I know there are a lot of times when the spread of players between teams is far from even. There might be a small chance that you could go from a 1v1 to a 2v0 if you're lucky, meaning you both get 2 tickets.

One person on each team to start.

No the game continues, so that if anyone were to join the lobby of the team with the least players they could get into the game, and then ruin the rigging.

The way that portals work in keeping the sides balanced is as simple as combat level totals on both sides.

If Zamorak has a level 50 and Saradomin has a level 120, no player can join the Saradomin team but would have to join Zamorak.

There are real ways to abuse this though, say a level 130 joins zamorak and a 120 join sara, but the 130 wants a 115 friend to join his team. He'd be unable to because 130>120.

But if the 130 leaves and the 115 takes his place, it is now 115<120 and the 130 will be put onto the 115's team.

@ OP on the comment of 125 hours of constant losses, can you define constant?

Edit: Forgot to include the answer to the OP's question

Two people. Although I'd suggest not playing just for the tickets but instead playing on a mre full world (Not the official worlds though and just getting them slowly but having fun while doing it)

He just successfully trolled you with "courtesy" and managed to get a reaction out of you. Lol

1 player in each team.

Once a game has been done, another game countdown from 5min to 0 will begin. So your "helper" can make it within 2min til game start.

Use Runecrafters at Castle wars to help you (very good way)

Here is a handy tool:

Click "Loop at end".

Now every 4min and 35 seconds it will ring.

^Done trolling?@Golvellius.

I did a 1vs1 for the diary.Took the flag to my part but I waited until the game was done and I got kicked from the enclosure.

Still it's a very slow way to get it seeing as you can't train anything else in the meantime.

^Done trolling?

Your saying i am trolling? If yes, how? If no, nvm.

does someone need to leave the existing game in order for someone else to join later?

Naaxi.png

Yeah it will only let somebody in if the team is uneven for that team.

Yeah it will only let somebody in if the team is uneven for that team.

but what if the game started as 2v1

can someone join the 1 man team, even if the game started with only 1 man on that team, is what I meant.

Naaxi.png

Yeah they will be invited into the game if the teams are imbalanced.

Hold on. 125 hours of constant losses? Last I played CW, you only got tickets on wins and ties. Isn't this still the case?

You can play with just 1 person on each team. It's pretty easy to find an empty world. I think it might be more fun to actually join a small cwars clan. The clanchat I use started as a Cwars clan, and a bunch of the people in have tons of cwars games played. I'm talking full profound, all halos, and the shield sort of games played, with plenty of leftover tickets.

They can teach you how to really cwar well.

derp, i thought it was 2 tickets for wins, 1 for loss

anyways I'm not interested in learning cwars.

Naaxi.png

It's 2 for win, 0 for loss.

1 person on each time - the other guy can leave after the game starts.

Just score the flag once and you'll get 2 points a game.

Hi if you're reading this you are amazing and I love you.

Maybe they'll release a bugless update for April Fools. That'd sure be a joke

How is it 125 hours of losses? You don't get any tickets when you loose...

Anyways, you only need 1 person in both portals to start a game.

As for "AFKing" castle wars...good luck. People can join mid way through the game, then start scoring against your team.

Honestly, I wouldn't afk castle wars, I say just start playing it for fun, on world 52 (i think that's the low populated Cwars world)

The chance of successfully "paying" for castle wars is very small, I wouldn't try it.

No risk, no reward.

I'll either figure something out, or I won't.

I don't gain anything from not trying.

anyways nobody has answered my question about whether you can join a game that's already started if nobody leaves.

Lets say a game starts with 2 players on Z team, 1 on S team.

Can someone join the S team after the game starts?

or would someone have to leave the Z/S team for a new player to join.

Thank you Grimy. It's about time someone understands how useful these things are. Hehe.

Anyway, i was able to start up a 1v1 game with my friend a while ago to do some maxing. So, i imagine that 1v1 is still possible. You just need to be careful of people who find your world and want to try and crash it. So bring some ancients, and if there aren't too many of them, you should be fine protecting the score.

I've never gotten someone joining while I'm in the middle of a 1v1 game, but then again i haven't done too many of them. But, considering logic, both teams have even players, so i don't think that it would let anymore in.
