D scim + D Def, SS, or God Sword for Str training?

I haven't played in a while so I don't know the current best method of training Str. Whiich of these has the best exp per hour?

Dragon Scimitar + Dragon Defender

Saradomin Sword

Cheapest Godsword atm (Bandos I believe)

NEVER USE A GODSWORD.

Saradomin Sword would be best.

D scim and defender afterwards.

Outta those 3, pretty sure Saradomin sword; I'd personally go with d scim/d def though. Wayyyyyy cheaper and the SS presumably isn't that great. It's a two handed whip that has a strength and crush option really.

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.
[spoiler=The rest of my sig. You know you wanna see it.]

my difinition of noob is i dont like u, either u are better then me or u are worst them me

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

You should get 99str the same way I did....with a Dlong....rofl

But tbh, if you don't have the cash for a SS then the Dscimmy would work just fine.

Well is there anything else I can spend that 6.5m on to help train str? Or should I just buy an SS?

SS isn't very high atm, I'm pretty sure you can get one for 3m. Just use it, if you got 10m anyway. As Jac posted, it's the best xp.

@ everyone who said d scim + d def, stop posting misinformation. OP asked for fastest exp/hr which D scim + d def is not. A saradomin sword will be the fastest exp/hr of the three options listed. So spend the money on that and a berserker ring.

But they are efficient nuts who take the game too seriously. Just go with whatever is more fun for you

Agreed! I went from 90-92 using d scim + DD then got KS and used it all the way to 99 and had a blast doing it.

squareroot/loosing games was being sarcastic.

Saradomin sword + Berserker ring. Sell the sword after you get 99 str, keep the berserker ring forever.

Saradomin Sword is the best xp wise, but I like the extra defence bonus from using a defender with a dragon scimmy.

Where the heck are you training that you need defense....?

No where in particular, I just dislike the saradomin sword.

And the D Def is known for its str and atk bonuses, not Def.

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.

I didn't say it was a defensive item, but it clearly provides defence over a saradomin sword, which gives no defence bonuses. A defender + d scimmy provides a bigger attack bonus over the saradomin sword. However, the Saradomin Sword has a bigger strength bonus, so it depends what you need really. Overall as I said before, the Saradomin sword is better xp per hour.

SS isn't very high atm, I'm pretty sure you can get one for 3m. Just use it, if you got 10m anyway. As Jac posted, it's the best xp.

GE has prices at about 5 mil

For these rates, are they calculated or theorized?

It seems like under different conditions (defense of monsters/attack/etc), one would outweigh the other.

I think if one's attack level is high enough and the monsters def is low enough - the SS would probably be better.

However, if one's attack is pretty low and one will train slayer and occasionally get monsters that are a good amount of level higher plus have pretty good defense - the dscimmy + ddef would probably be better.

I've seen people selling them at 2m, but that was a few days ago.

It's true that on higher defence the defender has the advantage, however few slayer monsters (and no powertraining monsters) actually have high defence: waterfiends, metal dragons, black dragons, wyverns. Of these, the first you would use an ss for (crush), the last you would use a shield on (korasi's) and the others you would stab (korasi's). The dragon scimitar doesn't really come into it.
