michel555555
From the looks of it this series is going to be a 7 parter (assuming they keep doing 2 machines per quest from now on). EWV - Astral, and then Nature. Already doors there to foreshadow this.EWVI - Death, and then Law. There's another door at the end of the hallway which will probably lead to the next area containing these machines.EWVII/EWVIII? - Blood and then Soul. Possibly seperate quests for blood and soul, because the first two had their own, and especially since soul is likely to be the machine that finally, truly revives the apprentice, and will be mad complicated (body x5 anyone??) what i want to know is what are they planning to do with astral. If they would have left astral out they would have had an item for each armour space. Are they going to be making arrows now? [spoiler=click you know you wanna]Me behave? Seriously? As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella arrived home from a party after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladin was a thief, Batman drove over 200 miles an hour, Snow White lived in a house with seven men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos, Pac man ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance, and Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies who always had the munchies. The fault is not mine! if you had this childhood and loved it put this in your signature!

Dragondan_Ro
Hm, I wonder how great the end product will really be? The way things are going now, we might end up with a high summoning and medium/good magic defence armour. Or at least stylish red/white armour. Give a man a lighter, and he will be warm for a while.Set a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

Sy_Accursed
1 thing I do recall somewhere is that the final armour set is going to have a set effect. I could imagine it being along the lines of either: possible runes depending on type u wear (much like nat/law staves) OR some sort of defence shield type buffer (going by the wield animations) sort of like a forcefield tht either adds to defence or perhaps attacks like bulwark beast shield has to be broke b4 u get hurt. J35u5_M4
That was quick. Didn't expect it today. Not bothered by it, tbh. Unless the puzzles are significantly easier and can actually be done without the knowledge of Einstein, then I'll give it a shot. The puzzles are easy, not like the Elemental Workshop III one >.<. I did the quest already, it was fun :D EDIT: About the fighting the apprentice theories... If there is a final fight maybe the boss only uses magic and you can't pray on it, and by the time we get to the last elemental set, it'll be the highest magic defence in game? Or maybe you're just forced to use a full set or each item from each quest (Like.. Elemental Shield, Mind Helmet, Body body, Cosmic gloves, Chaos Boots...) pgmr185
I liked the quest, but the ending was a bit of a letdown. I made the boots and boom....quest over. I didn't really get the feeling that I accomplished anything. I made a full cosmic set, and it gave me an idea. Instead of mutes and stat wipes, make people produce primed bars as a punishment. I only made six of them and it was torture.
brunokiller
Looks nice, needs more legs though. Sir_Squab
I haven't done the quest, but I'm hoping the next quest involves your character teaching the robot or whatever it is in there to do everything we've learned how to do so far. Or MAKE our own robot to do that. Or hire an NPC. I mean, hiring a demon to do your bidding costs 10k, so how much would it cost to hire like some alchemist apprentice or something to make stuff for us? Squab unleashes Megiddo! Sy_Accursed
I definitely liked this brand of puzzle more.It was less massive penalising if you go wrong challenge.More intuitively suss how it works then its fairly straight forward. Once you realise how cosmic controls work its not too hard to solve and same for chaos. All I don;t get is:Why do we need Da-Vi to pick up and move the tablet to the workbench, yet after carving we can move it ourselves? Sy_Accursed
How to solve the cosmic one? I really have no clue where to start Its relatively simple:The "emitters" fire out a blast of energy for w/e rune they have on them. Each pillar has the holes on them (eg a water/air pillar has two white, two blue on opposite sides. The energy blasts have to get straight across the room; they can only move through their own colour. So for each row/column in the grid you have to rotate the pillars so you have a complete line on 1 lens colour. then put a matching rune in the emitter and fire. You can see where pillars don't work because you get an explosion. 2nd and 3rd round you have more than 1 level to each pillar, you only need 1 lvl to make a complete line and match the emitter hegith to tht level. Saunamajuri
I liked this quest: It was fun and not too long or complicated. Astral and Nature doors already foreshadow the next part and the chaos book mentioned soul part, which is most likely behind the door in the end of the corridor. The book also hinted that the apprentice will most likely be the final boss of the series. "An Amateur practices until he can get it right. A Professional practices until he can't get it wrong." Quests just keep bringing me back to this game.
Will H
I'm curious why everyone's convinced that there's a boss at the end of the series, when it's a series that's strictly no combat, all puzzling. Sticking on combat at the end would just be weird and inconsistent. ~ W ~
