Yeah, that confirmation was nothing that we didn't know of earlier, of course they'll announce one, have you seen the Wii's lineup for the next 3 months? It has litterally nothing worth a buck on it.

I wanna hear sony's and any news on KH3. I know FF 13-2 is coming out late this year (Bloke at EB told me) and im glad I cashed in my Wii now. got $183 for it :3

I wouldn't piss on the Wii 2.

I gave up on Nintendo tbh. it took them this long and chances are they're going to ignore other companies like with the Wii and just piss out the usual Mario Metroid and Zelda games.

The main concern amongst most of the gamers I know is a lack of third party games to play. Sure, we all know Nintendo's games have a special charm and many of them are console sellers in their own right, but it's still an issue that needs addressing. Perhaps there's scope for them to produce a console that allows them to experiment with new ideas and concepts like usual, but provides enough conventionality for third party developers to produce a game that follows a tried and tested formula, which they know will sell commercially and make money.

 

We can't spend our whole lives playing Mario and Zelda, you're right, and when people go into a games store wanting to buy a new console, that's a factor in their decision.

Valve confirmed there won't be any Half Life news at E3, is Episode 3 shaping up to eb the next DNF?

Probably, I wouldn't be surprised.

 

I worked out that there'd be no Valve announcements at E3, especially considering they don't even have a stall this year. Oh well. I've still got some mapping on P2 to do, so that'll keep me interested.

 

I guess Soul Calibur 5, AC: Revelations and Skyrim are sure to keep me entertained throughout 2012.

I'd actually be quite annoyed if they released Episode three and not a full sequel now. It's been so long.

You should all know that Valve can't count to three.

In all honesty I'm a lot more interested on what Sony and Microsoft have up their sleeves to announce to try and 'beat' the new Nintendo console announcement. I mean Sony has NGP but Microsoft? Will be interesting.

I'm actually the most psyched for Microsoft's for that exact reason. We know nintendo will announce the new console and develop on the 3Ds line up. We know Sony will demo all the exclusives it has been revealing throughout the year aswell as hype up the NGP. But Microsoft? We only know a couple of games that are coming, such as Gears, and that there's a rumour on Halo 1 HD. Maybe they'll also demo MW3, but apart from that we know literally nothing.

Nope, but there are three third party conferences who also show pc games, like Ubisoft and EA, plus all the booths on the show floor.

This, 1000 times this. I am really looking forward to what they are going to say about Diablo 3. As there have been rumors that they are considering making it a console game as well as PC.
