I know I have nothing to worry about but it still annoys me when I have to stop and waste time to explain to the person (putting it nicely) that I'm not botting.

I think like 90% of them can talk and a lot of people that skill don't talk in public chat tbh. I keep mine on hide the majority of the time I play even when I'm not skilling. The newer players all seem to be annoying.

I thought JaGeX wasn't even recruiting P Mods anymore?

jagex alwasy recruits pmods; but it has nothing to do with reporting as they have said a million and one times. They just pick people at random with good records or do their forum recruitment.

 

The only thing reports factor in on is tons of bad reports = not gonna get pmod as ur useless at spotting real rule breaks.

Just keep your public chat completely off when skilling. I only turn mine on when I dg to avoid all the idiots in the general rs population.

I have never even so much as; been muted or had one single black mark, in more than five years I have played this game. I dont bot, and I hate a "Botter" as much as the next guy. Trust me I do! :thumbdown: It makes my achievments harder to get when there is a bot cutting trees right beside me.

Ha yeah I always have public chat turned off. For one it helps with lag and for two people always ask my levels in random skills. It's stupid and pointless

That's a stupid assumption. Seriously words cannot describe how stupid what you just said is. Just because people don't enjoy talking to everyone they meet they're a bot? Damn you're good at finding bots. And FYI I did answer his stupid question "are you a bot". So no I'm not a bot. Not to mention the fact that if I was a bot I wouldn't have seen him talking to me in the first place to make this topic.

Runescape is like Salem New England in the 1690's except instead of everyone running around screaming "Witch" in runescape we scream "Bot"

When pmods try and call me out for not responding, I tell them that they're nothing but a volunteer, and I have no reason to even acknowledge their existence. For their claims are merely assumptions - perceived to be true with no evidence as justification.
