Jagex are sucking at the moment with almost every decision.

I knew this was coming the moment I've read his thread. *sighs*

 

There must be an unwritten rule where moderators MUST be at Jagex's side during a conflict between Jagex and players.

Everybody loves unwritten rules :rolleyes: especially because they can be made up on the spot.

A moderator is still a player, and a player can still have his opinion.

Another fmod, ken genosis, demodded today for speaking out against jagex. Will update with more details as I find them.

 

Update: looks like they've unhidden the thread for now but the mod color is gone...

I like how all german fmods spoke against this hiscore bullshit and they are still green. The english mod team seems weird.

I read his post last night and essentially agree with what he said. He said what he felt needed to be said. I am sure that he knew what the consequences would be, yet it would seem that bringing attention to this issue was a higher priority.

It's a reason that I left the teams. The atmosphere is that you represent Jagex, so you can't speak out against them in public. It's mind-boggling how they think they can preserve something when they attack their largest supporter base.

Ppl like jib and ken were probably the most dedicated and loyal ppl to jagex. Ken had almost 8k posts and probably volunteered huge amount of times modding for jagex. They loved runescape and wanted the game to succeed like so many of us. And this is how jagex repays them? And you don't care? Where's your morality man?

That wasn't because someone had spoken out against Jagex, people do that here all the time, it was because the person who did it made libelous claims against Jagex that had no basis in fact. Also, didn't they threaten just that person and not Tip.It as a whole?

I can't believe how brutal jagex is lately towards their moderators... it is getting to the point where mods shouldn't deal with not having opinions...
