Sir_Squab
Rapier is the best overall. And pretty sure rapier is the best for TDs if you can switch fast. Squab unleashes Megiddo! Anon523
I think Maul is the best for TD'S (don't quote me on this). But yeah Rapier is better for most things but Longsword is better for Bandos.
Madouge
Rapier it is, thank you friends. What's the most efficient way to cover the costs? Recharging with money, or recharging with tokens? Click the pic if you wanna see a Ranged Slayer blog.
Quyneax
Rapier is best, also for tds. The maul is nice because it's slow and switches easy with a handcannon, but rapier is faster kills. Tokens if you dungeoneer a lot, otherwise cash. i_trollz_u
Tokenns+cash is the most efficient, since you can get the tokens required to repair from 0 in like an hour, and you get dung xp when you get the tokens.

I agree with this, but only after you get your t10 zerker and blazer/desperado rings. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
Powerfrog
Rapier is far superior overall, but for TDs specifically i hear maul is great due to the nature of TD's prayer switching. But with a good range weapon the rapiers' higher DPS probably is better overall killrate when maxed out, though. Now, 2m coins makes a lot more sense if you can make 360k+ gp an hour which i'm sure you can (Assuming you get 4k tokens an hour average), but that depends on how much you enjoy or want to level up dungeoneering for other reasons (such as getting next chaotics much faster) compared to whatever you do to make money. Also: Unless you're going for 110+ Dungeoneering i would not recommend getting tier 10 rings, it's just far, far too many tokens for a 2% difference compared to the tier 8 ring. That's about 900k tokens. Assuming you have 2 tier 8 rings, berserker and a mage ring, that's another 60k tokens. After 95 dungeoneering you have nothing else to spend tokens on, except to upgrade rings and for repairs.

It will be a very very long time before chaotics are outclassed, so if you're going to be constantly using them recharging them, you want to make your DGing progress as fast as possible. Upgrading your rings is an investment for the future, and it will make your life easier in the long run.
Powerfrog
I meant that he shouldn't get tier 10 rings immediatley like he may have assumed from your comments. Sure, if you have nothing else to buy and you have the tokens laying around, go for it, but don't make it a high priority. 110 dungeoneering was a mistake, what i should have said is that you shouldn't get tier 10 rings if you don't plan on training dungeoneering after you already have all the rewards you want. What? Are you saying 4k tokens is too little for 83 dungeoneering? Or that it's too much? I'd say it's pretty reasonable giving that most level 80s aren't in pro teams and solo a lot due to that fact. I pretty much agree with your rewards, except you missed ring of vigour and herbicide. (For personal reasons, but i'm sure others can get use out of them, too.)

I'd say it's pretty reasonable giving that most level 80s aren't in pro teams and solo a lot due to that fact. My pure is 80 dg and my teams average 25 - 30 minutes a dungeon. That is WITH the handicap of having me on their team with only 50 defense and low non-combat stats. On top of this, i average 5k tokens a dungeon. Which can mean up to 10 - 12k tokens an hour if we do a row of floors. 4k tokens an hour is what DG bots get, or people on 117 doing 1 hour dungeons with 5 deaths each. Hexiled Razz. But not everyone can leech good teams. Fine then, if you get 10k tokens an hour only do it if you make less than 900k/hour (Unless you value dungeoneering xp over whatever you get doing that money making method.) I honestly thought 4k/hour was the average, i solo'd a lot of mine because i couldn't get a half decent team at lower levels.
AHappySeeker
If you want to TD, get yourself a maul and a rapier. Use the rapier to chip at its ranged prayer and switch to claws for overkill just before it switches to melee. Maul does the same thing as claws while you have no spec. Also get rigour, as it is a significant improvement over eagle eye.
All_Is_Great
What is the point of that? Most times the rapier just hits 310+ anyways?

Aten
If you just got ~80 dg, I'd personally repair using only money first. However, this does somewhat depend on your ability to make money, so you have to weigh your income/hr against your xp/hr (and hence tokens/hr) in dg. Maybe you make money slower than the average player or do faster floors, thus it depends on your personal situation. But for TDs you kind of have to figure out a pattern and all. I'd get CR, its best overall. [hide=Drops]Araxxor Eye x1 Leg pieces x2GWD: 5000 Addy bar Steam B Staff x3 Z Spear x6 Sara.
