Haters

Featured Replies

How do you deal with haters? Are they even a problem to you? Do you even have anyone who just didn't like you for no apparent reason?

Anyways, I've been hated on from time to time but I personally just try to not deal with them. I'll probably edit this post later after I get some sleep.

There usually aren't people that just dislike me for no reason, especially now in college.

I guess in high school there were a few people that seemed to dislike me and I'd never met them but I paid no attention to them.

I don't have haters. To have haters it would seem you would to annoyingly and flamboyantly express your likes to the public, which would get the attention of haters. And I don't do that.

e.g: Gamers, MLP, sport fans, people with obsessions...

Because people who hate me for no reason aren't haters, they're idiots.

If someone hates you for no reason, give them a reason to hate you (or ignore them, this works best).

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

I've got way too many people that hate me for no reason.

Or at least no reason known to me.

You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something' date=' sometime in your life. [/quote']

There's lots of other quotes, but this was the only one that I wanted to post.

I've been hated on a lot, but all you can do is get on with life. It's not a problem with you, it's a problem with them.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

Incite fear or terror to maintain control and order.

More seriously: I simply mentally block them. It works a charm as it seems to drive them even madder than they initially were (for some unprecedented reason).

I'm one of those people who hates for no reason. I don't know why, but it just comes naturally.

I've no haters, I've never had any, and suspect I never will.

There are people who think that I consider them good friends, when really, they annoy the crap out of me. Namely some underclassmen who attend the same college as me.

When I think about that, I think about how weird it would be to think you were liked by someone (they show no signs of disliking you, at least to your face) when really they actually don't like you very much.

I wonder how many people 'pretend' to like me. :\

Duff. That is why I don't have friends. The very few friends that I have are the extremely loyal type of people who'd do anything for me, and I can trust them to be my friends. I have many acquaintances, but I know half of them don't like me. They are handy though. Just don't get too close.

How do you know people don't like you?

Sometimes you can sense it, but just move on and find other people? Don't stay with just them, move on.

Oh, I have some great friends. I was mainly talking about acquaintances, I guess. Like how many people did I go to school with who acted nice to me but really didn't like me at all.

Sometimes you can sense it, yes; but with me, I'm good at being polite when I need to, so the people who I don't like but who I am nice to have no way of knowing that they annoy me (unless one of my friends tells; but often times said friend also finds them annoying).

Acquaintances just kind of annoy me sometimes. I also find it interesting when people think that acquaintance = friend.

(I'm not criticizing you for your word choice btw. I just mean in general.)

I can just look at a person and tell if they don't like me. And if I can't, I provoke them into showing me their opinions of me. It isn't that hard. (for me at least)

So basically, the old self-fulfilling prophecy?

I'm unfamiliar with that statement?

You suspect something, so you act in a way either to find out something or to avoid something, and you end up making it happen yourself.

Oh ok =p

That is about right.

Then people hate you because you make them hate you. Not good.

I honestly do not have a problem with that. If they were people that I actually liked/cared for, it would be different.
